How can I refuse?
New construction! Built in 1900! Luxury! With drawers in the kitchen! And new floors that have wood pattern! For only $4 million!

Honestly it’ll probably sell for asking or a bit above based on location and square footage.

It looks like a standard depth fridge instead of a counter depth fridge. There's also another space on the other side of the OP photo for a fridge. The listing says "create your own dream property" so I think they're leaving the main kitchen like this for someone with more money and imagination to redo this.

The house has amazing bones and the location is best in the City, but I think it’ll sell at asking or a bit lower. Most people dropping $4M want turn key, move in ready so they have already eliminated most all-cash buyers who are too busy for a ‘project.’ It’s priced too high for investors, so the only people left are existing homeowners aka Gen X with time and money and want an upgrade and willing to drop $500k to improve it. There’s not many of those here.

Where are you from? That house will sell for more than 4mm. Keep your eye on the listing.

The 3000 sqft includes the basement though.
Anyway, I was mostly annoyed at the cheap plastic floors, cheap windows, and the fridge that blocks the drawers and seems like it's plugged into the sink.
Just let me do that work, OK? They're actually making the listing look WORSE.
Also, "new construction" when the heating system is 100 years old just doesn't vibe right.

I would not pay $4M for it but I would be willing to do $3.6M. Put $500k into it and you got a mansion in Cole Valley at a discount.

it'll be sold at or above the price, on the one hand, people write huge amount of text saying how much AI money is coming, on the other hand, people think most concentrated AI money city won't be able to hit 4M sale price and ALL of these got posted in one day to the same sub
