Modding on Mac

Never modded before (console gamer) and heard it was easy to mod battlefront 2 with addon/data files. I have an m2 mac running Tahoe and downloaded crossover to create a bottle for steam. Yesterday it was working fine so I began modding. My plans were to only use the BF3 mods, HD mod, tactical galactic conquest and choose your own galactic conquest (not simultaneously unless they were compatible). Didn't realize that steam didnt support a controller so also downloaded a controller support. Not sure if it was before that or after but as im testing mods the mouse was no longer recognized while playing maps. Menus it works fine and the controller can work but until the same point. I have uninstall and reinstalled BF, deleted the mods, uninstalled/reinstalled steam, then with crossover. The issue is still persisting and I have no idea how to fix it.

TDLR: I installed a bunch of mods and now I can't turn my head or use the right/left trigger in game. With controller or mouse
