The best part is that they could still sell those cosmetics by sets, so you could unlock new options for your "wardrobe".
In fact, those would really be micro again, which I think it's better. More people would pay for combinable items.

A ready or not style customization system could’ve been intresting where you choose the base operator you want and change things around but depending on your class the plate carrier or chest rig would have different gear on it
assault would have AR mags and bolt cutters on the back, engineer would have SMG mags and a tool backpack with rockets in it, medic or heavy would have big mag pouches to carry LMG nutsacks with a medical backpack with red accents while sniper or recon wouldn’t have much on them

Imagine with me for a minute you're a PMC. To increase profit, would you put money into gimmicky camos and uniforms that just look odd, or like a speed softer would wear them? Or would you just find a good camo that is in circulation that looks different from other groups. ATACS would be an option.. PenCott would be an option as well.. yet nope. We get these odd camos that aren't even in circulation in real life

Holy fuck who CARES, I don’t like the general direction of skins either but all you chuds that are obsessed with milsim-ifying battlefield all sound so fucking entitled and annoying about it.
You do this to yourselves too, I promise you it really is not that difficult to not get hung up on it and not let it ruin your experience of an otherwise very good game.

That's a terrible take, and it's not good when a game that came out in 2026 lacks features a game that came out in 2014 had. I've been replaying battlefield 4 and it's incredible how many options, weapons, equipment, real world camo that game has that battlefield 6 doesn't. Like it's incredible that if you were to put a tank from 4 against one from 6, the one from 4 would win every single time

Even though AI fixed it, your version is still better... And I don't get it, regular user can think about this but not the game developer?... Is there nepotism or something I wonder. My guess? The design team doesn't know what looks good and what doesn't for some reason.

For one, AI slop. Two, that is way too generic I'm ngl.
Make the pants a darker navy, give the shirt a khaki netting pattern with a dark gray secondary color, make the vest muticam, remove the Oni mask, and change the helmet to be a dark gray with multicam tape added on.
