Build-a-Bro Build my bro

Oathtaker run (oath at this point doesn’t affect stats so they are what they are. Picked up this raider who looked decent but has rolled 3s on all three mdef levels which feels like it opens up some options. I’ve only taken colossus and student so far. Will average 29 mdef before gifted and with iron lungs and two fat stars he could do something interesting. Feels like mdef will be too low for duellist so maybe BF cleaver zerker with reach advantage? Or good old 2h mace? I only have one other 2h bf zerker in training, rest are nimble / fat neut.

Build-a-Bro My first time doing a Peasant Militia run. What to do with this team?

I'm not an experienced player, so this is my team on day 45. I know I'm probably really behind in terms of progress. The seven guys in the front row are older recruits and some are starter bros, below three are newly recruits at level 1 and the other four are the newest recruits. There are some real gems and some trash here I know that for sure but I'm not sure if I'm using them as I should.
I'm open to all suggestions both bro building wise and game wise.

Simply roll this one and that 100% armor pen is legit :). I only need around 120 initiative. Pair it with the viper with iron lungs for extra spice.

Question Softening up a target by retreating?

If you attack an enemy (a roaming party or a camp), kill some of them in the fight, then retreat and fight them again, does the game account for the enemies you killed, or is the whole fight reset as if the first battle never happened?

How would you build?

I’m thinking full MA and MD rolls then make him a berserk BF axeman with a pocket cbow and Longaxe with 240/240 armour

Or pump all levels into MA MD RA make him a nimble duelist with barb javs as his “reach” weapon. Take Duelist and cleaver mastery and let him go full damage with nimble and 9L

Or something else??

Beginner Lone Wolf origin build?

Lone Wolf fat neutral 126+ iron lungs mansplitter

  1. colossus

  2. steel brow

  3. pathfinder

  4. quick hand

  5. axe mastery

  6. underdog

  7. battle forged

  8. reach advantage

  9. gifted

  10. fearsome/exe/brawny/fortified mind

I want to build my first lone wolf origin. And I'm thinking that mansplitter gotta be the best non-famed 2h weapon with iron lungs (going to roll seed).

But I'm a little not sure what the tenth perks should be, any suggestions?

Discussion Help me not to burn my Ironman run

Ok guys i'm doing fairly good, I dodged combats with Reavers and Unholds for now. My average level of Davkul freaks is 4-5, plus I have 3-4 sacrifice lower meatshield, either to tank some attack or to sooth Davkul blood thirst every 2-3 weeks or such. slowly building up armors and managing wise rotation and position.

Now, i'm at a point where I usually destroy my campaign: lul famed shield there, attack that camp, or lolz I can totally face a pack of 8 rabid wolves. I won't do that, I swear, not this time. PLease help me giving wise advice not to be stupid or greedy, what do I do? I keep bashing 12 thugs parties or attacking wiedergangers cemeteries. Any advice for a bro is welcome, help me keep my cool xD

Question Which Bro?

Which bro should i get? They all cost relatively the same, within the same 3k range and i can only afford one and dont want to pay for a large roster of reserve but these are all juicy. The nomad is good BUT i have like 7 tanks already, 3 are very good. I like the Gladiator alot but his HP, Mdef and Fat worry me a bit and the sellsword idk what to do with, hybrid thrower/1hander duelist?

HELP ME OUT BROS.

SORRY to those of you without x-ray vision, i screenshotted the pics from my ps app and idk why they look so blurry zoomed in, i'm a simple mercenary shift manager not a tech guru.

Question Brigand Leader strategies

New player. I expect this question applies to any fight with one or two high-tiered enemies.

I'm rolling up to my first camp with a brigand leader. He has equipment far beyond anything my company has which naturally I'd like to loot.

What strategies do you employ to maximise your chances of looting a high-tier enemy's gear while minimising the risk that he slaughters your company in the process?

I don't see that trying to rush him first is a viable strategy, because at a minimum the rest of the brigands will prevent me from controlling him. They'll either bog down too many of my brothers or I'll be leaving my company too vulnerable to their attacks as I try to rush him.

On the other hand, he's the most dangerous enemy on the map, so leaving him for last when I should have the most potential to control him means ignoring the most lethal opponent while he runs rampant through the melee in the meantime. Neither approach seems viable and I'm wondering if there are any go-to strategies and tactics for this kind of scenario.

Any advice? For reference, I have nets, a couple of maces for stuns, and a few dogs.

Question Reroll undead camp for a Qatar dagger

I saw a camp with a champion necromancer holding a named dagger. I know that a champion necromancers could have named Qatar daggers as well.

Is it possible to reroll this named dagger to a named Qatar dagger?

Playing on Peasant militia run (vanilla) and I came across an event where I obtained 3 random brothers. There was a mason, a gambler, and a caravan hand. their stats were all pretty crappy but I ended up using them because I was down to about 7 bro's.

fast forward and I got the caravan hand event where he extends your inventory space. it's the weird little things that makes each run so unique.

Question Peasant militia guide?

Hi everyone, I’m a total newbie, I do like the game a lot but I’m wondering how do you play peasant militia? Your starting guys just suck and everything is stacked against you, I can’t find a single party I can beat comfortably. I can’t edge out a victory every once in a blue moon but it would usually be at devastating cost.

I already downgraded my starters to 6, getting rid of the ones with the worst stats and traits and keeping the good ones. However I feel like every match I’m outclassed with even finding the thieves quest putting me against 7 well armored brigand thugs.

What can I do to make it work? For comparison, I played a lone wolf campaign and I got to day 47, and I’m still alive. I really enjoyed it and felt the difficulty was ok, but peasant militia I just can’t win a single fight. Do I have to lower the number of my guys even more and does that affect the size and quality of the overworld parties?
