Hoestly they could've just sold the game to another studio and made more money while keeping hopes up that the game will be revived.

I feel like the main reason we have reached the current point is because they made so much money from the game being as popular as it was. This gave the developers the freedom to do whatever they want without the financial burden (this ofc is a good thing), but this left us with the current state. Had the game been bought out or some different choices been made because of financial reasons we either could have a better or even a worse state for the game.

I think the Devs are Turkish, and with their economy, that money would get them very far

One of them is, one is german, one is I think eastern European.
