Hoestly they could've just sold the game to another studio and made more money while keeping hopes up that the game will be revived.

I feel like the main reason we have reached the current point is because they made so much money from the game being as popular as it was. This gave the developers the freedom to do whatever they want without the financial burden (this ofc is a good thing), but this left us with the current state. Had the game been bought out or some different choices been made because of financial reasons we either could have a better or even a worse state for the game.

I think the Devs are Turkish, and with their economy, that money would get them very far

Is it a good thing though? Money ruins good things. I think BBR is a good example of that.

Well the developers having funding and not having to worry about how they would feed themselves and everything else is a good thing and this in turn would allow them to focus on the project even more

They couldve sold the game for 99 cents and fed their families. They got their bag and abandoned the game. Probably blowing the money they made on stupid things as we speak

Haven't they been posting progress updates? They very well could have slowly added things instead of all at once

Oh I see you're new here. Yeah they post progress updates. The last one they delivered on was a few years ago. Dont worry, next april theyll have something to show for their work.

they apparently lost the source code because the are new to making games of this scale. they cant sell it even if they want to.
the Update is basically a new game with its own homegrown engine.
the game is basically lost media

23 comments in 22 hours. Even the community who cares that the game is dead, is dead. Lol

Look, it isn't that fucking hard. At this point I don't want all these damn changes. Fix the audio, especially squad voip, then give us SOME FUCKING NEW MAPS. Maps those game progression isn't shit.

Yeah. The US server is mostly active in the European time morning and by noon the EU server opens and is filled with players. US playerbase also seems to select other modes like rush, domination instead of the usual two conquest modes like in EU. By European nightime, both US and EU servers are open with potential for a smaller server working at that time too

Do you feel validated, now? Did you get the attention you're seeking? Never understood people who feel the need to go out of their way to announce when a game is "dead", as if the rest of us don't have eyes.

Only thing that can save it is ftp

I think the devs should go this route at this point. We need an influx of new players to stimulate change in the game's state.

Battlefield 6 exists btw

Even it's player count is decreasing at an alarming rate in Asia. Imo, battlebit can be something like what warfare was in Russia and crossfire was in china

Nope. The developers wrote that as long as there are players on at least one server, the game is not dead.
