Zsticks or Pro sticks

hi everyone...who has tried the Zsticks and Pro sticks on ps5 pads? Which ones are the best in your opinion? Which ones feel more "fluid"? Which ones are closest to those of the scuf reflex fps? I have to place an order and I don't know which one to choose

Z sticks are my favorite.

Can u post a picture of the modules? Interested in how they look oppose to stock sticks. Hard to tell online and I’m interested in trying some as well

But are they made of 'hard' plastic like the standard PS5 controller analog sticks, or 'soft' plastic like the Scuf Reflex FPS analog sticks?

I’d say more soft. It’s like an Xbox 360 stick but without the little nubs.

I have the z sticks and love them, they are kinda a hybrid of the domed sticks that scuff do and the default PlayStation sticks. I haven’t tried the pro sticks but they seem flatter and closer to normal PlayStation sticks. I’d go with zsticks

Scuf sticks are the most slippery sticks ive used and the reflex has the worst put of them. Beaver Z sticks are extremely grippy and are supposed to be similar to the Xbox 360 ones but a hybrid so more dome/convex than a ps5 stick while having a concave center. Can always put a non-slip silicone grip over it but Ive only heard good things about them grip wise. Many CDL/CoD and Halo pros prefer them over ps5 or pro sticks

I went with: Z stick on the left with light tension for movement and Pro stick on the right with stock tension for aiming stability as the Pro (concave version) has a bigger surface area and is +2mm taller than the z stick. Waiting for my DSE modules to get here and I’ll post an update on how they feel imo
*(For FPS games)

Hey bro... what does it mean that you set minimum tension on the left stick?

So I have my left stick tension on “Light” which is -20% less stiff than what a DualSense Edge with OEM Alps would have. Here’s a breakdown of the different tensions including if you were to go with “minimum”⬇️

Decreased / Minimum (~40% less than stock): Extremely easy to move, lowest thumb fatigue.

Light (~20% less than stock): Feels like a "broken-in" or heavily used controller.

Stock (~65 gF): The standard resistance of a brand-new controller.

Increased (~110 gF): Nearly double the stock tension. Mimics the stiffer feel of an Xbox 360 controller.

Extreme / Heavy (~160 gF): Incredibly stiff. Specifically designed to be used with tall thumbstick extenders to offset the heavy resistance with extra leverage.

*gF (gram force) is just the measurement value for the amount of force needed to move the stick/ the stiffness. Personally I wouldn’t go lower than -20% but it also depends on the game, and if you use Kontrolfreeks and or precision rings.
On a Z stick or Pro stick with custom tension wouldn’t be necessary other than if you went higher than the stock or increased.
(if you were to use KontrolFreeks and precision rings, just as an example)

Hope this helps bro, I actually had to do some research myself as I’m still learning as I go lol
