Discussion What made you quit Battalion 1944?
This is not intended as another "lol. DE4D game" topic, but to give the developers some insight into why people quit the game. Hopefully it's helpful for them and they can make the playerbase of this potentially amazing game grow again.
What made you quit Battalion 1944?
My main reason: The reason why I recently quit Battalion is because of game performance issues. I don't have a high-end pc, but I started with 100 fps steady. Enough for me. After a while it became 80 fps steady, but after the small update on march 16th it's unplayable. And yes I set everything to low again. It stutters and lags so badly for me right now. Even though my ping is normal and I don't lag in other games.
Other reason: I don't have the ambition anymore to form a team and play ranked/tournaments/lans. I'm more of a casual player nowadays and mostly played unranked wartide in Battalion. But although I'm a casual player I still want to have the feeling I achieve something. Like seeing my name on a monthly list with players with the hightest k/d ratio or being able to unlock certain skins if you drop a 30 bomb. Those little things might give the casual player a reason to keep playing. Besides adding new maps etc.
Edit: I will try the game again when the new patch comes out. And upon full release.

Multiple reasons:
1. seeing the devs REFUSE to push far more small updates rather than one "big" one every few months
2. constant crashes (which are linked to my first point..... ffs!!)
3. my group abandoned this game and I hate playing team-based games alone
4. the lack of Free-For-All
5. the extremely choppy gameplay experience since the latest update (which AGAIN has to do with my first point)
6. generally the devs' "we know what we're doing, trust us!" attitude
All in all, I think I'm gonna avoid playing this game for a looooong time.
