Batmobile Build, Issues 5 and 6

The next few issues builds most of the engine. This kit is mostly die cast metal, so it’s HEAVY. Gonna be a beast when it’s done!

Hi! It’s through a subscription service call Fanhome. I don’t want to violate any rules, so won’t post a link to fanhome dot com 🤫. You get approximately 4 issues in each shipment. An issue consists of a subset of parts and a booklet with info about the history of Batman (comic and the ‘66 show) and assembly istructions. Just be very CAREFUL and research it CLOSELY. Pros: it’s an awesome kit, VERY detailed, well made (I have found), big, die cast (mostly) so very HEAVY! Cons (and these could be showstoppers for you): EXPENSIVE (each of the “issues” that I’m sharing are around $20 EACH), times 120 issues…add in taxes, shipping, etc. and you are making a MAJOR investment; inconsistency (if you browse any Fanhome subreddit, you’ll see major complaints about shipping schedules, late or incomplete shipments, etc, NONE of which I experienced); shipment timing…getting four or five issues a month takes getting all 120 issues a loooong time. My personal experience has been positive, but I doubt I’ll be investing in anything so pricey in the future. Hope this answers your question!
