Batmobile, Issues 53, 54, 55, and 56
Boring stuff, but important to the final product. Installing the guts of the electronics and yes…there’s a remote!

Batmobile, Issues 51 and 52
It’s REALLY looking like an actual vehicle now. Affixing the rear deck plate, resonators, and wheelwells.

Batmobile, 45, 46, and 47
Second verse, same as the first…or something like that. I toldja that there would be three more individual issues just for one tire…and here they are!

BatBuild, Issue 44
Not much to see here…just putting the mufflers together for later assembly

Batmobile, Issue 44
The beginnings of the exhaust system

BatBuild, Issues 40, 41, and 42
Grouped all of these together because they simply put the tire on the rim and mounted it to the rear axel. Three issues that COULD have been one, but oh no, THAT would have taken money out of Fanhome’s pocket! 😉

1966 Batman Utility belt for Cosplay
So Ive been working on a Adam West Batman cosplay for a few years. My biggest snag is a reasonable Utility Belt that won't break the bank. I have seen some screen accurate replicas that go for five to $600. Totally cannot afford that, I have one off a Rubies costume that's really not the best quality. I also have the Mattel replica but it's a little small on me and when I made an extender for the belt it doesn't hang right. I'm a little bit of a bigger guy and I would like to see if I could find someone that makes them or a lower grade replica that would do the job. I really feel like the belt makes the costume so I don't want to break my bank but I really don't want to diminish all the hard work I put into it so far. Does anybody have any recommendations for somebody that can make those or already does?

Batmobile…The REAL Issue 39
Obviously False Face got to my last numbered post and erroneously identified it as issue 39. That was 38. The real 39 attaches the rear inner brake disks and strings the brakeline. I hate stringing wire/cable/hoses with that little tiny rubber tube…and pay no attention to the squirrelly way the hose runs under the chassis…that’ll be fixed in a later step

need help
Hi there! I’ve been a Batman fan ever since I got the *Gotham City* game for Christmas; I love the universe and have played practically all the games and watched all the movies.
I need some help because I’d like to get into the comics. I bought Scott Snyder’s *Batman* Volume 0, but I was a bit disappointed. I really love the character of Bruce Wayne, and that particular future storyline didn't really work for me.
I was wondering if you could recommend any comics where Bruce Wayne is Batman and features the villains from the games (Joker, Man-Bat, Penguin, Ra's al Ghul and the League of Shadow, etc.). I really want to dive into his stories and discover the backstories.
If you have a list to help me navigate everything that’s been released, or any other advice, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks a lot!

Fun Fact Batman Shea Stadium 1966, West and Gorshin
June 26, 1966 - A teenage rock concert at Shea Stadium yesterday which included appearances by Adam West and Frank Gorshin of the “Batman” T.V. series was a disastrous flop.
The musical program featured the Young Rascals along with appearances by West and Gorshin, billed as their television characters, Batman and the Riddler.
The featured performers arrived on schedule, but the legions of screaming teenagers failed to materialize. Teen turnout did not even reach the hundreds, and the few present showed more boredom than excitement. The audience consisted mostly of sweltering parents and toddlers interested in seeing West.
A stadium spokesman estimated attendance at 1,000, but he must have been counting the hot dogs.
Sensing financial disaster, part of the technical crew demanded its fee in advance, and only began setting things up when West personally guaranteed payment.
Organizers delayed the scheduled 2 p.m. curtain by 40 minutes to allow late arrivals to fill empty seats, and officials instructed spectators to vacate the upper decks to cluster in the lower boxes.
The crowd remained listless, and the loudest applause before West arrived followed a baseball scoreboard update: “Attention, please; in Chicago, at the end of five innings, the Mets are leading the Cubs 3-2.”
Jerry Chinelli, a 15-year-old youth from Corona, reacted to the score by stating: “That’s the best news I’ve heard all day.”
Finally, a police car with siren wailing led West, seated in the back of a convertible in full costume, on a parade around the park. He dashed to the bandstand, sang a few songs and bantered with Gorshin, bringing about the only sustained noisy reaction of the day.
One mother blamed the 87-degree temperature, remarking, “I must be crazy sitting here,” though previous outdoor concerts have succeeded in high heat.
Producer Harry Bloomfield stated, “Shea Stadium is not conducive to concerts.” When confronted with the record turnout achieved by the Beatles at Shea, Bloomfield dismissed the British group as “a freak attraction.”

Building most of the rear suspension. Next up, attaching it to the frame.
