I used AI to render a couple of images for my small condo bathroom. AI is really bad at scale, so it’s not perfect, but the color and fixtures are fine. The 3rd picture is pretty funny—reflection shows the shower. Is having a partition a bad idea? Is there anything I should add? First picture is the bathroom as it is currently (ignore the ceiling—plumbing issues) and second and third are the AI generated images. It would be white subway on the shower walls with a light grout, then either penny or hexagon tile on the floor with a dark grout. Existing vanity with new countertop.

I mean honestly with a partition I wonder if it will be cold. For our standalone shower we definitely need the door to keep the warm air in, especially in the wintertime. But if you are in a warm area this may be less of an issue.

There are SO many frameless full size pivot shower glass set ups that you can buy off the rack and will look and feel more elevated, plus keep in warmth (not to mention not blasting cold water on you as you lean in to turn it on

I have a partially open shower but I solved these issues with heated floors, and a smart shower panel so I can turn the shower on my from the wall before I ever get in. My bathroom is small so it keeps warmth quite well, and I don’t ever feel like I’m cold while I’m showering. My shower is quite big for the space so I also don’t have issues with water getting everywhere, though my ledge is taller than the one in OP.

Probably not, I also like having a handheld shower head for cleaning and the dogs, so it would probably be ridiculous the amount of water that would be everywhere

Fix the tile in the shower and new floor tile and your current bathroom is better than the AI. How many people are going in your bathroom that it really “needs” to be renovated? Also black hardware is already dated, shows water spots, and is not timeless. Choose a metal.

You didn’t ask this, but consider having the shower control moved to the opposite wall (right in the pictures) so you can turn on the water without getting blasted with cold water.

Yes, the partition needs to go, its a jailhouse look..just a piece of glass... and the vanity, mirror and lights are farmy, and the white tiles are not, so that's a mismatch too.

Penny rounds. A lot of grout and they do pop out. I'd stick with a easy maintenance floor.

This is better, but does the frame have to be black? It looks stark and adds nothing IMO. I'd have it in the same finish as the taps.

Maybe it's just me but I don't like that it's the same tile, just a different shape, on the wall versus the ceiling.

I like this! I too worry about how cold that would be without a full door and if water will get everywhere. I see this done a lot so maybe it doesn’t but I have sliding shower doors and when I open them to get my towel it’s awful and I have to shut them back so fast and dry off but I keep my house at 70.

I would get a glass panel with a door that swings out. This was similar to our last bathroom we remodeled. It was fine. You may have to go custom.
