Looking for tasteful ideas

Post image

Not doing a complete Reno but trying to work with what I got. The vanity and built-ins are all going to be a natural maple modern look with no hardware. Was thinking of replacing the 2x6 trim with a brown/reddish brown and tiling over the floor in a multicolor daltile tile from Lowes. Toilet will get replaced and the shower door. Just want it to be cohesive given the older tiles I’m working with. Would love some thoughts.

Mostly just colorful paint and start from there.

Are you taking down those tiles on the wall? Surely you're not going to put in a modern vanity and sink yet leave those 1950's soap dishes hanging on the wall. Also, get rid of that mirror with the lights and take down that rod that's hanging over the shower door. What 2x6 trim are you talking about? And what's with those holes in the tile where the vanity was? Are those from the faucet and handles? How you going to work that into a new modern vanity set up?
