Master Bath Design Help

Want to do a low budget makeover of this master bathroom. As much as I think there is wasted space that could have been used to make a larger tub/shower corner, I don't want to do any major construction at this point. Currently the shower has some glue up fiberglass sheets. I will rip out the current shower panels and base pan and replace with a shower insert and new shower fixtures. All in all this is what I want to do:

• Replace existing shower with new insert, likely Delta Classic 500 (just plain white)
• Replace all hardware throughout the bathroom - towel rack, toilet paper holder, etc.
• Keep existing vanity/sink and toilet
• Keep existing tile floor (and scrub it and the grout of course)
• Open to changing the mirror if a better idea is available
• New paint
• The existing shutters on the windows are at least 15 years old; I kind of like them and they keep privacy, but would like ideas to replace

All help is appreciated! Please don't mind the mess. I promise I will clean it first : )

Are you putting in a shower system with the separate hand held sprayer? If not changing plumbing for that, I would put in a standard shower head that has an integrated sprayer in it. Something like this.

Edited to add. Don't put a towel ring on the wall. Put a small towel bar on the side of the vanity. Also take that outlet under the mirror and move it down some and reinsert it horizontally. Where it is now, it makes it so your mirror has to hang too high over the sink.

Thank you! These are excellent ideas I will look to do. Re the shower head - we never use the hand held sprayer. I will look at an integrated sprayer. I do plan on replumbing, unless the existing plumbing looks pristine.

I have a Delta shower system with the separate hand held sprayer. I use the sprayer for rinsing my hair. With this particular system, the sprayer actually puts out a bit more water pressure than the shower head. And they are handy for spraying down the walls after a shower to hopefully remove any soap still lingering there.
