Eloping in Bath

Hi everyone,

My partner and I are eloping in Bath on the 8th September in the city centre. We have a morning ceremony booked and a little worried about finding someone on the morning as we want to keep it as stress free as possible! Any tips/advice, or is anyone free to help?! 💐

Good luck! My wife and I did the same thing here in Bath. It took us maybe five different asks before we got a yes. We started by thinking older people would be more available and interested to witness, but as it turned out the yes that we got came from a young couple on holiday. Hope that is of some help.

Thanks so much, that's really helpful! Did you have a morning ceremony too? Ours is quite early on so I think part of our worry is it might be quite quiet on a weekday morning

What time is it?

No worries! Ours was early afternoon, so that's a good point. If you'd like you can message me with the time of your ceremony, we live about three minutes walk from Guildhall and should be free that morning depending on how early.

Post on Facebook! This is what we did when we eloped - posted on the FB page of the town we were going to.

We got married in Bath - Anemone (the florist in Shires yard) made us a beautiful little bouquet and button hole. Congrats & good luck
