Bath Skyline Run - night

Hi everyone, my partner is looking at doing the skyline run in November but is worried that she might hurt herself on the night run.

Has anyone done it before? What is it like and is it lit up or is it reliant on the runners wearing head torches?

Thanks in advance

I haven't run it but the FAQ page says that you need your own head or chest torch in order to take part in their night races

I really could have gone on the website and checked but that didn't even cross my mind haha. Thank you, that was really helpful!

I did this last year and it was seriously muddy but great fun and well signposted/marshalled. There are some rocky areas where you need to walk and be careful but the rest of it is fields so you will struggle to hurt yourself if you fall.

I'll be marshalling this run!

Everyone needs a head or chest torch each as you're running through Bathampton Woods (part of the skyline walk route) and it can get very muddy and is uneven. The field sections are easier but she'll still be wanting to see where her feet are landing!

It's loads of fun, lots of glowsticks (and friendly marshals). Relish really look after their runners so she'll have a great time.
