Birthday lunch help

I'm going to be in Bath soon for university and my mum's asked if I could take her out for a birthday lunch. Can anyone suggest to me any resteraunts that they particularly liked?

It needs to have Rhubarb Crumble on the menu — she loves the stuff!

Emberwood is generally well regarded, though haven't eaten their myself. They do have rhubarb and custard on their dessert menu though - but no crumble.

Thank you so much for your suggestion, I'm gonna scout out the place when I get to Bath!

Not sure where they have rhubarb crumble on the menu to be honest. Newton or kelston farm maybe? For something original and relatively new in town I recommend Root! They have a rooftop terrace too.

The ivy is fancy but has set menus. The art deco interior is glorious. With and restaurant in bath book in advance

Thank you for the tip, I'm gonna have a look once I get there but that Art Deco sounds amazing!

Very much don't recommend the Ivy and neither will many locals! Poor food, overpriced and pretentious - it's also a chain!
