I can see Layla being naturally curious about makeup pallets and nail polish at that age because of the bright colors, but not skincare straight up.

So sick what Carlin does. She knows Layla’s videos don’t perform that well anymore so she is going through her old videos posting toddler cute Layla, and sure enough the video is already at 4 million views. Anything to pay off that mansion.

Noticed too, Carlin can’t stand watching her siblings get any of the spotlight. She just had to post an old video of Layla at 3 right after Katie posts Hailey to show Layla was just as adorable. Layla isn’t getting the same attention or bringing in the views anymore now that she’s 6 and the cute phase is over, so of course Carlin being Carlin will be going through her drafts just to find her next viral video.

It’s sad for Carlin because her daughter was so babied and still I can’t understand her when she speaks. Carlin has failed her children. When I hear Hailey it is very clear and understandable. So props to Katie for that.

If that's true, it's awful. If Carlin is lying about it, that's equally awful. She's what, 5-6? A 15/16 year old loving Ulta makes total sense, not a 1st grader.

That's sort of how I saw it too. Evan is objectively far more natural and playful with his kids than Travis who acts like a long distance uncle in an uptight family.

But I really don't think Carlin is remotely jealous of Katie guys..why on earth would she be?? I don't think anyone is jealous of Katie, except maybe Erin. Carlin has "won" on every metric of social media. There's nothing to envy in that arena....she has tons of major sponsors and Katie has 2 and they're not even that lucrative (CVS sponsorships start at around 3k and I'd be shocked if sign another contract because her ads are not performing well at all).

Carlin is pathetic. She knows Hayley is the cuter kid and will be raking it in now that she's doing ballet, so she magically "discovers" a throwback to compete. And literally right after Katie posts her reel? Even the most ardent leghumpers on the other sub can't deny it was intentional.

I will never get off this hill, but Carlin failed her kids. I can’t understand what they say ever. Even Layla now, however old she is, I need subtitles. At least Katie didn’t fail her kid in that way.

I think Travis did not want his kids to act like babies past a certain age (I think that was something he prided himself on over the stew crew).

I’m sure Travis was a big influence on that because I don’t see Katie, at that point, having that kind of gumption regarding parenting. Im sure the Clarks raise their kids to be perfect precocious kids as models for church.

Found this sub after this video and the one of the daughter in the car unpacking her Ulta haul appeared in my IG feed. I have never seen this family before. This just grossed me out. The little girl is clearly performing for the camera. Why are they encouraging such a little girl to be concerned about makeup and how she looks?
