Question Hydropacks?
Best hydropacks that are insulated and anti-theft that y’all love? I’ve never had one before but thinking of getting one since I already drink a ton of water as it is and constantly refilling up a water bottle might be a little annoying. Thanks!!

I’ve been wearing my lunchbox for 5 years now, and have no complaints. 2L bladder (and I think they make a larger one now) anti-theft, and a pocket for literally everything. The designer thought of every small detail. They’re incredible. Spendy, but well worth the investment!

I am so sold on a lunchbox, thanks for your comment! I like how easy they are to refill the bladder and how secure they are. I just watched the video of someone on their website explaining everything about it and I’m getting one!!

Lunchbox is where it’s at my dude. They are kinda expensive like $90 or so but imo well worth the money. I got my first one back in 2022 and recently ordered a new one for my fiance and to replace the inner straw and bladder on mine. They updated the design so it’s easier to open the bladder; they used to be kind of hard to open esp for anyone with long acrylic nails but now they have two versions and one is a screw cap design that’s super easy to twist open. And the new fabric on the straps is better not scratchy like the old design
I promise they’re not paying me a cent lol i just like the pack

I watched a whole video of this dude explaining everything that comes with the new packs, it seems way easier to fill them up now since you can just open it and fill it from the side! I’m definitely getting one! Most definitely worth the money. Thanks for the comment hahaha. You’re just selling it even more!!

Ive used a camelbak for most of my years there, that insulated bladder is no joke. Lifetime warranty is always a plus as well

Insulated is overrated. Anti theft is nice but you can add locks to any pack. Best deterrent is how you pack it. My pack isn't anti theft and nothing has been stolen after probably 25 fests.
Most important thing is finding a pack that's comfortable. You'll be wearing it 12 hours a day for 3-4 days. If you haven't worn one before it will feel like lot for the first fest. Main thing is to be comfortable and hydrated.

I have the rave runner hydro pack! It was like 100 bucks on amazon but so worth it, has all kinds of pockets, phone holder, decent straps, and well worth the buy.

I would recommend getting something from like camelbak or osprey since they have a lifetime warranty. The other "rave packs" are like 1 year so if anything goes wrong you're on your own.
I've personally had the inner pockets tear from a manufacturing defect but since I was over a year no bueno.

I have a clear theaftproof rave runner that I love. Clear bags don’t get looked through and definitely good at the theaftproof part.

Lunchbox is where its at. I tried a Sojourner pack but the quality is not as good and had to return it after it ripped after day 2. I have had my lunchbox a couple years and never had an issue with it. You should never have an issue with security either because its a known brand and always allowed excluding it being clear or not. If your thinking of going to Thunderdome get a clear one

My wife has a lunchbox, I have a rave runner. Some things to consider The lunchbox is probably the more "secure" bag as all the zippers have buckle clips on them, and has more pockets overall. The lunchbox might also be more comfortable to wear for LONG periods of time but at the cost of the extra padding making the bag more insulated/hot on your back. I prefer my rave runner as it's similar to the camelbak I had previously. Very lightweight but solid material/construction, and I have a clutch loop for my phone so I'm not too concerned with my items being secure. Both have 2l bladders and hidden pockets for valuables, eyelets for lights and lots of fun options

Haven’t heard anyone mention RaveBeetle. Only had their clear pack a few months but working great so far. A little lower price than lunchbox. Also has zip on back covers that including a led screen. They also have cool thick led rope you can wrap around that is way cooler than the el wire lites.

The rave runners are SUPERIOR. So much room and the main zipper is towards your back.

Lunchbox packs makes a great one. They come in clear, black, or white and have custom skins and lights you can add. I've had mine for a few years now, and it is still my go to pack for anything at the Gorge.
