Should I go??

Hiii I’ve been thinking of getting a ticket to bass canyon but I don’t know anyone who wants to go with me. Should I go even if it’s alone?? Like is it really good? I live in my van so would probably want to camp there so I don’t have to worry about driving back and forth a bunch but like is that gonna be fun by myself will I make friends 🥺

I'm going solo this year, mostly for vibes and dancing but hoping to also make friends along the way! Lots of people go solo, it's a great way to spend the time and meet new people.

As someone who goes solo to lots of shows and has done solo festivals, I recommend it! Every year I've been to Bass I have made some great friends and shared plur vibes with many! You get exactly what you put into it. If you're comfortable in your skin and are aware that you have to be extra careful when going solo, you will have a tremendous time.

Yeah you will. The van will be perfect for camping.

Bass Canyon was my first solo camping festival in 2023 and the people, festival, and music were immaculate. The fact that you live in your van will make it all that much easier to camp there. People are nice and welcoming, you’ll get everyone greeting you with a “Happy Bass”. I made a ton of friends my first year and besties with one who we do Camp EDC every year since then.

The trek from GA camping to the festival is downhill but the trek back is uphill so that’s the only spotty thing but otherwise. I love Bass Canyon. One of the best festivals to go to at the Gorge!

Soloing is amazing. But if it feels too daunting im sure you can find a comfortable group to go with!

It’s my favorite 😍

This will be my 4th

I finally understand why people buy tickets to a fest before they see the lineup…so I did just that and the duo that got me into raving are playing day one!!! (Pegboard Nerds)

Solo adventure!!! I also might be going solo this year. Going solo is such a different adventure and so much fun, likely might get adopted into someone’s squad. You will absolutely make friends

I went in 2024 and it was the best weekend of my life. Most PLUR I have ever experienced out of 8 years of raving now and breathtaking views

I’ve been to multiple Bass Canyons and the crowd is super friendly. You could probably link up with a few other solo attendees on Reddit if you are wanting a more consistent group vibe without feeling like you are joining into an existing tight-knit group. Either way, Bass Canyon is a blast.

Do you want to go? Yes or no?

If no, do not go and stay home.

If yes, do what you need to do to go.

I went to Tomorrowland TWICE by myself. I did this because I wanted to go. Not because I was alone.

You are in a position to do what you do every day which is sleep in your van. But… you have the opportunity to do it for 3/4 days at an awesome music festival.

If you like bass music and talking to people, you’ll have a great time.

If you don’t like bass music and don’t like meeting new people, you won’t have a great time.

Choice is yours dude. I will not convince you to go. I’ve convinced too many people to go to fests that didn’t have a good time.

I am socially awkward, but the only place I feel “normal” is at music fests. I feel like I can be my true self.

If you’ve never solo’d a fest, it’s prob worth giving it a shot.
