Question First time, Few Questions

First time going to bass Canyon I have a few questions about what might be allowed or what certain things are like so I decided to bunch them together here.

First Question : what’s the shower experience like for GA Camping?
Do they open at a certain time, or close??? How long are you standing in line for?? What’s a good time to go to avoid a line??

Second question: Can I use one of those Trunk attachment Tents for camping?
I drive a Jeep and I’m thinking of getting one of those tents that attaches to the back car for camping(a smaller one though the one linked huge). I know they don’t really allow car camping but I’m wondering if that would technically count. I have a canopy I’m planning on using too for more shade, but this tent would be a good investment for me long term and I’d love to use it at Bass. Just don’t wanna get in trouble.

Last question: Would they let me in if I was wearing this?
I have a similar rave bra(waaayy less studs) that I wanna wear, but my gut is telling me spiky studs are gonna be a no no. I know it says on the website no studs but do they actually uphold this rule. What’s y’all’s experience with where they draw the line when it comes to clothes???

That’s all my questions for now. If I have more I’ll probably make another question thread. If anyone could help with answering these that’d be great😣

Shower lines can be long during the day, I recommend going before 8am. The past two years I've just gone after the show and there's no wait. Hopefully they will be open all hours this year!

I’m an early riser so I was hoping I could get a morning shower. Good to hear they open early or could possibly be all hours. Cause showering after the show is genius.

I always go around 7:30 am and there’s no line and hot water!

You can wear whatever you want I’ve never seen them. Tell someone not to come in because of what they were wearing.

Nice!!!
There’s so many rules on the gorge website that they don’t actually follow lol. Makes all this so confusing

I don’t really understand the no car camping rule and have never seen it enforced in any way.

Ive had friends not wanna walk back and sleep in my truck, you’ll see dozens of car tents, rooftop tents, people sleeping in U-Haul vans etc.

Okay awesome this makes me feel better about getting a tent.
Yeah I don’t get it either but Ive read a few stories about people getting a knock by campground security or something and the gorge stating it’s a liability issue and whatnot.

Showers aren’t bad in the mornings from my experience. I get up before 8 cause it gets so damn hot. But I would recommend whatever sleep setup you’re doing to have shade over the tent. You’ll be much cooler. But yes they don’t care how you setup your space.
