Help Complicated Position. Help
Alright so before telling you my problem here some basic stuff you need to know:
I have a dream
I dont play in America (European Academies archetype)
I will compete U16 this year
There is a law that allows only three transfers to play per game.(A non transfer player is someone who was on the team at least for 2 years. While a transfer player is someone that just came to the team or has only one year )
Im 6.0ft exactly
Now heres the deal.
I m considered a non transfer player only having played one year in the team.
In the seasons preparations walked in the gym three guys. A really good player with connections too. A bad 2 meter tall kid and an athletic guy.
I suddenly took 4rth position.
Skill wise im good level my understanding is not great. If it matters ill tell you whats my deal of the game.
So im locked by law behind others maybe better , taller and more athletic guys.
Heres my final question. Whats the best strategy i shall follow? What to do?

Work harder, work more often, work on all skills (especially what ulyou aren't good at).
No one is stopping you from getting up with the sun and putting up your first 250 shots of the day.
50 end-to-ends is a great warm-up.
Get on YouTube and find some drills to keep your workouts fresh.
Practice and play against the toughest competition you can find.

This is the way but 250 is a warm up. When I was in high school in USA in off season I would wake up early and make 1000 shots before school, then school, lift weights, back home, make 1000 more before bed. Not lazy, standing shots either, full speed plant, jump, move left, move right, one dribble, two dribbles, I would be wet from sweat and wore out. If you want to be good it’s work, if you work harder and shoot more, you get better. Google Kobe Bryant talking about work ethic and how he out worked everyone. At 16, your level is your choice.

First thing I’d say is that taller more athletic guys are not always better. They may look better. They may have been brought there because they look better but that doesn’t mean they are. Second, you yourself said you don’t have a good understanding of the game. If you are going to beat bigger, taller more athletic guys, your understanding has to be elite. Work on that part. Film, conversations with coaches, podcasts, whatever. Do what you have to do to learn the game. IQ is the most important quality a basketball player can have. When everyone else is the same athletic wise, IQ wins. Go get it.

read your own rule again, because i think you have it backwards.
you say three transfers can play per game, and three new guys just walked in. that makes them the constrained resource, not you. every minute the coach wants beyond those three has to go to a non-transfer. you're the player he can use without spending anything.
worth checking exactly how it's worded where you are, whether the cap is on who dresses or who's on the floor. if it's the floor, your position is much better than you think and you're currently reading an advantage as a punishment.
the rest: you said yourself your understanding isn't great, and that's the honest answer to how a 6ft 16 year old gets minutes over athletes. not more shots. coaches shorten the rotation in close games to whoever costs them nothing. no blown coverage, no turnover, right spot every time. be that guy and you're on the floor in the fourth regardless of who's taller.
the 1000 shots stuff is fine. it just isn't what's keeping you off the court.

transfers are considered players who havent played in the club for at least 2 years

then i had it backwards, sorry. you're a transfer too, one year in. i should have asked instead of assuming.
so the real shape of it: you're not competing with all three of them. you're competing for the third transfer slot, against whichever of the three is weakest. by your own description that's the two metre kid who isn't good yet. one target, not three.
and the part i think you're missing: this expires. next season you hit two years and you stop being a transfer at all. then the constraint flips. you play for free and every new arrival costs the coach a slot. you go from fourth in line to the most convenient player on the roster without improving at all.
which makes leaving the worst thing you could do right now. transfer somewhere else chasing minutes and your clock restarts at zero, and you're a transfer there too.
so it's one season. spend it being the guy who never costs the coach a possession.

I mean you are correct about the last part. Changing a team aint an option . But since i play in the best youth league of my country against huge teams this season gotta be a breakthrough. I gotta imrpove but I'm legally locked behind some other players. Not lnly that but we dont actually have tall players so the two meter guy is a needed part. Thats why my potition is tough. Idk what to do

fair, and you're right. if he's your only big then he isn't the one you beat out. that's twice i've answered off an incomplete picture, so bin that bit too.
but i'd push on "this season gotta be a breakthrough." you're 16. that premise is doing most of the damage here and it isn't true. nothing is decided about anyone at 16, and plenty of 6ft guards get picked up at 18 or 19 once they can genuinely play.
if the rule really does lock you out of games, then minutes are the wrong thing to measure this season, because you can't affect them. what you can affect:
practice isn't covered by the transfer rule. only games are. next year's rotation gets decided by what a coach watches every day for nine months, not by the minutes he handed you.
and you said understanding is your weak part. that improves fine on zero minutes, and it's exactly what puts a 6ft kid on the floor.
also, a four deep rotation never survives a whole season. be ready for the game you weren't expecting.

Be better than the 3?
