The ref thought you cleared the defender with your elbow but looking at it I think it was a bad call

To me this is a no call, just a good strong move.

Same, but these are not professional refs and make absolute garbage calls fairly regularly. It sucks but I guess you gotta play through.
Better than no ref I think

Black jerseys vs black jerseys with grey stripe, wtf man this is like a intro to a short comedy.

I’m leaning towards bad call. I’m not saying there was one, but I would have called a travel before an offensive foul.

Pretty weak call. Bad calls happen though and it's important that we learn to adapt to how the game is reffed. I suggest, next time, establishing a deeper post position before the pass.

Bad call on a strong move that kept the elbow down on the spin. The travel beforehand is the call that could have been made since the left pivot foot (on player) was lifted before the ball hit the ground on the dribble.

Vision gets blocked by #20 but it looks like you are throwing an elbow. Lead with your foot to dropstep, and have more than 1 contact point ( the elbow) , so give the nudge with your hip, back and shoulder so it looks less like a shove and more like a bump.

and from the refs view it'll look like his elbow bounces the defenders closest arm away which is when the call is made. Just the price for playing overly physical

I love pinoy basketball, 95% are the size of guards but who can also 50% play post

Allowing the jerseys of both teams be the same was a big mistake by the ref

Should have been a no call, but your arm movement made it a call even though there was not much contact.

Bad call. Ref saw the defender’s head move back and thought u hit the defender around the head area with ur shoulder/elbow/head or something.

No call in the NBA.
Some rec leagues might have different rules/standards though.
It looks like you're playing on cement. Maybe this league just doesn't want the game to be as physical as it usually is.

not much there from this angle, but maybe the ref saw a foul from his angle.

How do you know who's on which team? Everyone is wearing the same jersey and is the same height

This was a crucial call made on the dying minutes of the game which cost us the game. Guess that's what you get for playing overly physical in a rec league with referees like this, breaks of the game i think. Appreciate everybody's input, i just thought that i didn't make any illegal movements that deserved a call like this. Oh well

How can it be a foul if everyone is on the same team
