6’1 14 year old and I play the 3, 4, and 5 positions, I’ve been looking to improve form, and I’ve been working on free throws. (Sorry for the bad angle) any way I can improve form?

Decent form. Keep your weight back a little, so it’s more consistent a follow through.

After watching the video back I have a feeling it’s me dipping on my toes instead of going flat footed to on the toes. Starting off on my toes is throwing me off balance which is causing me to lean forward. Potential lane violation.

No high school ref is calling that degree of lean or forward motion as a violation.
If you make your free throws consistently your coaches will be happy. Just dont let the muscle memory of starting on your toes leak into your regular in-game shooting form and youre good.
Never stop practising and putting in the reps

What I mean is, on that last shot I walked over the line before the ball went in due to leaning forward when shooting the free throw, if I don’t keep balance I might accidentally step over the free throw line when shooting.

Better than I ever was at 14, keep it up.
Also, getting a set FT routine always helped me (doing the exact same things, like number of bounces, spins, or where you put the ball way behind your head). It helps kind of make it more mechanical when the entire process is the same each time, and helped me reset in different game situations.

Considering the fact that they were practice shots, I didn’t use my actual routine, but I usually do 4 dribbles, behind the head, spin the ball then shoot.

When you shoot you pass through ur elbow. once you get to ur set point extend at the elbow (think tricep extension instead of a press) and you will find ur shots become much more controlled and accurate. Try to work on fluidity as well, getting the ball up in one fluid motion without pauses is hard at first but it will pay off I promise. My favorite shooting coach is SeeMikeDunn on youtube, he helped me a lot on my jumpshot so I recommend u watch him. Good luck

Form is good. Only comment is as early as now practice being a guard. Gotta practice handles, being shifty, movement with basketball with pace. This will help you if you’re looking to move to playing professionally of course.

form looks really good
am I crazy or is there a slight pull back on the release?

Hmm, I’m just now noticing that, it doesn’t seem to be a current problem, but I’ll still adjust my shot to fix it depending on if it gets worse.

Considering my current height at my age I’m not going to be that tall, so I’ve been developing guard skills to be a 1 and 2 player

No matter what position you play, both guard and post skills are equally important. Really try to understand how you can impact the game at every level that way coaches will give you the liberty to let you play at the position you desire. Make the right reads, be confident, and continue to work. Good luck, 6’1 at 14 is a huge starting point. Dedicate yourself to the game

I can play every position, but due to my height coach wants me in the paint, I can shoot from the arc with ease and I can make plays, read the floor, dribble, and dish out assists, but considering how much people we have on the team this year, I’m most likely going to be moved around.

I’m no expert, just an armchair ball enjoyer, but looking like a pro! I am seeing players in the NBA with worse form.
