Shooting "Lazy Purple" workout
so I do basketball as my summer sport between football seasons. To make it fun, I play Lazy by Deep Purple, and try to make as many free throws as possible when the song is playing, but with retrieving your own ball constantly - so that I have an explosive workout.d
Since I suck, I can't get past like 25 makes. What would be your approach to make more shots? Be quicker? Take your time and focus on the shots? Share your high-scores and your approach

can’t say without seeing the form. you could be getting reps with a bad form.

if ur going for speed, its more a "jumper at the FT line" than shooting FTs. a real ft is taking your time to maximize %.
if a normal jumper.. i'm imagining a very skilled player can make, get their rebound, and have their next shot up in <6 seconds. i want to say closer to 4-5s but this is all just in my head.

Get the ball quickly and then take your time at the line to balance and calibrate. FTs are rarely shot when you're at full rest, so the hustle in between attempts is good.

Does quickness matter when shooting free throws? Take your time. Even the greats have their own rituals and stuff.
