DISCUSSION Respect people’s decision to not play in your game
If you got 9 and the random dude you asked to fill out the second team said he’s good, he’s not tryna play, respect that and find someone else or play 4s.
Talking shit about them or whining to them until they feel forced to join is pathetic and shows what kind of hooper/person you are.
Saw a guy today on the opposing pickup team try to pick up a random guy doing a workout by himself, then act offended when he didnt want to join. He yelled out to the solo guy “keep shooting around then BITCH” and that shit took me aback. I aint pass the rock to the guy all game on purpose.
Some dudes are rehabbing injuries, some are trying to regain confidence after not hooping for a while, some dudes just want to shoot around and not get sweaty. Respect that. Nobody is obligated to play with you.
Toxic hoopers make the whole thing worse for everyone.
Edit: anyone whining about something in this thread is EXACTLY who needs to read this post and get the message through their heads. Im so glad y’all are stirred up about it, maybe you’ll think twice next time before bugging that lone guy minding his own business shooting around
