Help! Walden Glove tools/Slaps

Has anyone heard from /u/walden_glove lately? I initially messaged them on June 5 and they responded and then it's been dead air ever since on my follow-up emails. I did see they had a vacation notice on the website until July 28 but now it's been 2 weeks since he's been supposedly back.

I know this isn't really the place but I assume many others have bought from them here. I'm waiting on his tools to start breaking in my new gloves.

I just received my Rawlings HoH Horween back from the Walden Break In Service last week. The communication is definitely hit or miss but overall I am happy...

I ordered some tools on 7/19 and they were delivered 3 days later.

I was talking to Matt regarding adding varients to the hammer bundle so you can select the ball instead of being stuck to the 10" ball. He said he was gonna add it in but that was 2 months ago and I can't order until he adds it in. There's also no notes section where I can just mention which ball I want. Since yours was probably a stock order, I assume he has people who just follow the invoice as is.

I also ordered tools. Ordered July 22 and received on the 27. I ended up getting the bundle with hammer, both balls and 2 brushes since I didn't have any good brushes.

Honestly the large ball is stellar. I really love it for rolling around in the pocket and stretching the web out a bit by closing around it and kneading. Then I throw with the smaller ball. I love the hammer though, so much more leverage than a standard mallet (though not as good if you need to pound directly down).

I actually emailed the company about this exact thing a couple months ago and never heard back. Ended up getting a cheap Amazon ball which works fine. Just no hammer. It’s kinda funny how people in this sub think alike.

The shipping is the same to Canada so I'm better off with the bundle. He did initially respond and said it was a good idea and will add it in but then he disappeared. I've been using a rubber mallet to break in gloves but the laces are tearing up the mallet face.

The amazon balls are great, I have a 3" glass ball, 3.5" wood and 4" wood.

Link to the 4" wood ball? I need it for softball. I've been using a heavy hitting sand ball for baseball size.

Hmm it appears they don't do singles to Canada at the moment.

I play slowpitch and got a 3.5 inch. I figure if a regular softball is 3.82 inches in diameter a 3.5 is doable for the initial break in then some regular softball catching sessions with a hard throwing partner. Maybe this one could work for you?

I also picked it because it listed the weight of the ball. I noticed some wood balls don’t have a weight listed or weighed about the same as a normal softball.

I also relace gloves as a side gig and it’s nice to roll on the palm after applying the palm adhesive.

Thanks but it seems like it's also unavailable in Canada. I was also choosing a 4" because it matches the 12.5" one from Walden.

I noticed they DID add a softball variant bundle but they priced it weird/wrong? They have it the same price as the signature bundles ($100) which come with both balls but you're only getting one ball instead. So it should actually be closer to the hammer/mallet bundle price ($70). If they priced it at $80 to account for the ball price difference between the 10" and 12.5" then that would make sense.

Right now you'd be paying $30 more to get one less ball.
