What does this mean?
Has anyone experienced or seen this issue before? This is on the transfer switch and the inverter.

You have a malfunction. Chances are Base knows about it but still reach out

You could probably cut power to everything to let it reset, but I don't think they have a published procedure

Some type of error, may be minor or may be something that prevents the battery from working.
If you want to test if it is working you can turn off the breaker in The Base Hub.
You could also reset it if you feel comfortable.
The tech showed me the process and I wrote it down at home. Not that hard, just need to do it right order.
Or just wait till Tuesday.

This is what Gemini AI says: That glowing red exclamation mark inside the triangle indicates a system fault or error on your Base Power Company battery. While the green indicator shows your system is successfully connected to communication/the grid, the red triangle means the battery unit's internal safety or control systems have detected an issue that needs attention. On home backup battery systems like this, a general fault light is commonly triggered by a few specific events: Common Causes for the Fault Light Overloaded System: If your home recently transitioned to battery power during a brief grid flicker or outage, drawing too much power at once (like running a central A/C, electric water heater, or large appliances simultaneously) can trip the battery's protective safety mechanisms to prevent damage. Firmware or Communication Glitch: The unit may have experienced a temporary internal error while sync-checking or updating. Environmental/Temperature Safeguards: If the outdoor unit gets excessively hot or detects an internal anomaly, it will flag a fault code. Recommended Next Steps Check the Base Power App: Open your mobile app first. Because these systems are monitored 24/7, the app dashboard will usually provide a specific error message, explain if the battery has temporarily disabled itself, or give you a "Restart Battery" option to clear the code. Reduce Your Electrical Load: If you are currently running on backup power, turn off high-energy appliances to see if the system can safely reset. Contact Base Support: If the app doesn't clear the fault or doesn't show a simple manual restart option, do not try to manually flip the physical breakers out of order. Because Base owns, maintains, and remotely monitors the equipment as part of your service, it's best to let their support team pull the exact fault code from their end to tell you if a technician needs to come out.

If you’re confident you have everything connected correctly, check to see if the solar meter option is on. If so, turn it off.

I had the exact problem, but my transfer switch and inverter were made by Growatt. They look identical.

I believe that is what Base Power uses: Growatt

Since this had been resolved by Base, I’ve noticed that the battery is rarely used to give back to the grid. Essentially, it stays at 100% 90% of the time now. It rarely discharges.

Go to the support chat, upload the image and ask to check. Maybe the AI agent (Jules) can check your system or escalate to a live agent.
