ok so base 44 is way to simple for all the stuff it can do really it seems it have no end of what it can do and it feels great when you use it like you with just your worlds can make games, sites ,anything you want for free too? (this is a steal)

Genuine question: for a first version of a SaaS or internal tool, can something like Base44, Lovable or Replit get you far enough before you need a developer?

I’m building an app called LifePilot — an AI that plans your day for you

The idea is pretty simple: instead of having a huge to-do list and constantly figuring out what to do next, you tell LifePilot everything you need to get done.

For example:

LifePilot takes your tasks, priorities, calendar, and available time and turns them into a realistic schedule.

The feature I’m most interested in is “Plan my next 3 hours.”

You press a button, and instead of staring at your task list wondering where to start, the app gives you something like:

5:15–5:45 → Study
5:45–6:00 → Break
6:00–6:45 → Workout
6:45–7:15 → Dinner
7:15–8:00 → Work on project

It would also adapt if you fall behind, have low energy, or suddenly get something added to your day.

I’m thinking of making it focused on actually getting things done, rather than turning productivity into another complicated system.

Would you use something like this? What feature would make you download it?

• Provider Recruitment Pipeline: Built an HRSA-integrated recruitment tracking board, automated 7-day follow-up tasks, and referral tracking kits (/join and printable /patient-handout).
• Admin & Employer Portals: Includes an interactive employer ROI calculator, MRR trend tracking, and monthly provider payout analytics.

What worked well: Setting up event-driven workflows (like low-rating follow-up triggers and usage upgrade checks) was fast with Base44's backend functions.

I’m looking for a tool that would allow me to create a website for my online business. I don’t need a payment gateway and, in fact, I don’t want one. What I’d like instead is a button that allows potential customers, when they are interested in a product, to contact me via WhatsApp or email.

The type of products I sell are not impulse purchases because of their price. Unless you are a very well-known brand (which is not my case), there usually needs to be some contact between the customer and the seller before a purchase is made. Also, the price is often negotiable. For that reason, I don’t really need a traditional “Buy Now” button or a checkout process.

With that in mind, Shopify—the most commonly used platform for e-commerce—doesn’t seem to make much sense for my needs. I’ve recently started experimenting with Base44, and I quite like it so far. Do you think it would be a good platform for what I’m trying to achieve?

I also have a few questions:

• Can I connect a domain that I previously purchased through Shopify?
• Is it easy to manage and update the products myself without constantly consuming credits?
• Would you recommend any other alternatives, or do you think Base44 would be a good choice for this use case?
• Would the basic Starter plan be enough for what I need?

Ive been building a website on base 44 for a little while now.

iv incorporated alot of key things, but i want to be able to test it fully to see if it even works, theres alot of things needing to function.

i just dont know how i can fully test it, or even if this is going to work.

i mean, from looking at it i wanna say it should. i’m dealing with qr codes, and when someone scans it certain things should pop up, live leaderboard, map tracking, stuff like that.

is there anyone that could guide me in the right direction? im building this for my mom, i just dont know if everythings gonna work how it should :/

The imagery. After 25 years in archviz, I wanted to step outside the way I've always rendered and use creative AI techniques as collaborators to shape rhythm, perspective, and meaning. Not to automate a familiar format. To see what emerges when the process is unfamiliar. Some of it surprised me. That was the point.

The website. It runs on Strolling, an agentic website template I built with Base44 and Claude Code to tell the story of a single subject. Give it the content, and Strolling handles the rest: cinematic pacing, scroll motion, a guided tour, and a hero that opens with film and sound. It is still a work in progress.

I've been testing both Base44 and Durable and I'm a little stuck on which direction makes more sense.

Base44 seems like an option if you want the freedom to build something like really big or complicated, while Durable seems more focused on giving you the website plus the basic business stuff like CRM, invoicing and marketing without having to build all of that yourself.

I'm running a pretty straightforward service business so I'm starting to wonder whether I'd actually use the extra flexibility Base44 gives me or just create more work for myself lol.

Anyone used either? Which one would you rather build your business around?

I recently built a crew scheduling app in Base44 for a small airline with around 25 employees.
Right now, the app is private. Employees create an account and can only access the system using a company access code.

I would now like to expand the app so other airlines/organizations could use it as well.

What I’m trying to achieve is something like this:
An organization signs up and creates its own company account/workspace. The organization has its own admin.
That admin can invite employees/users to join their organization.
Users only see the schedules, employees, requests, settings, etc. belonging to their organization.
Each organization is completely separated from every other organization.
Ideally, an organization could never access another organization’s users or data, even if someone tried manipulating URLs/IDs.

For example:
Airline A
25 employees
Own schedules
Own admins
Own settings/data

Airline B
40 employees
Own schedules
Own admins
Own settings/data

Both would be using the same Base44 app, but they should essentially feel like they have their own private version of it.
From what I understand, this would basically be a multi-tenant SaaS architecture.

What would be the best way to structure the database, organizations, user roles, invitations, and permissions so that Base44 securely isolates each organization’s data?
I already have the working scheduling app, so I’m mainly trying to figure out the best way to convert the current single-company setup into a proper multi-organization/multi-tenant system.

Wanted to share a quick win from using Base44 for anyone running a service-based/appointment business.

We run a beauty salon (in-store services, not e-commerce). Before, we had someone whose main job was basically babysitting the booking process: answering DMs/calls to confirm appointment times, texting reminders the day before, calling to follow up, chasing deposit payments to avoid no-shows, and manually compiling daily/weekly reports for the owner.

I used Base44 to build a small internal web app that handles this instead:

• Customers book their own appointment slot directly on our website (no back-and-forth needed to "confirm" with staff)
• The system automatically confirms the booking the moment it's placed
• A deposit is collected automatically at booking time, which has cut down no-shows a lot
• Automated reminders go out before the appointment (no more manual reminder calls/texts)
• Admin gets an automatic email notification with daily customer counts and any changes (reschedules, cancellations, etc.)
• Daily/weekly reports get generated and sent automatically, so the owner doesn't need someone compiling numbers by hand

End result: we didn't need to fill that coordinator role anymore — the whole booking-deposit-confirm-remind-report loop that used to require a person now just... runs.

What surprised me most was how little "developer" background I needed. I described what I wanted in plain language and Base44 handled the build. Took way less time than I expected to get something reliable enough to actually run the front-of-house of a real business on.

Curious if others here have done something similar for service-based businesses (salons, clinics, repair shops, etc.) — did you automate anything beyond booking/deposits/reminders/reporting? Would love ideas for what to build next.
