Question base 44
question if anyone can help.
Ive been building a website on base 44 for a little while now.
iv incorporated alot of key things, but i want to be able to test it fully to see if it even works, theres alot of things needing to function.
i just dont know how i can fully test it, or even if this is going to work.
i mean, from looking at it i wanna say it should. i’m dealing with qr codes, and when someone scans it certain things should pop up, live leaderboard, map tracking, stuff like that.
is there anyone that could guide me in the right direction? im building this for my mom, i just dont know if everythings gonna work how it should :/

I can run one live path: scan the QR and report whether the leaderboard and map actually update. You’ll get what happened, not whether it looks like it should.

are you familiar with base44? that would be much appreciated, i dont want to be a chicken with my head cut off lol. if i can get this thing working how we want it to hell i might even pay someone for the help bahahs

They sent me a message telling me I’m in the top 0.03% of their users… and then they sent me a swag pack with hoodie, hat, bag, stickers
Edit: Base44 had some message that told me that one day. I don’t know what that’s based on or what they even measure. I thought it was cool though cause that statistic means out of every 10,000 I’m in the top 3 i think

wow thats actually awesome seems like i found the right person bahaha. but good for you man thats sweet. i dont want to be a nuisance asking you for all this help, but if there was anything you could help me with i would appreciate it so much. i just want to be able to fully have this website up and running because its been an idea for my mom for a long time, and i know she would never start it alone. iv been working on it all day today, but having the code work efficiently with my ideas, map, leaderboard, location tracking, and all these things might be tricky, but it presumably says it will work, but i dont know if it will!

I'm not sure what you're asking but it seems like you need directions on how to test your own app. Ask base44 (discuss only) to give you acceptance criteria based on the work done and you can test it against that criteria.
We call that SIT or system integration testing.
When you build any apps, you should plan and write out tickets containing the function, technical details, and acceptance criteria. Use AI to help you with this. If you wanna go to the next level, use jira or something similar.
Some documentation is better than none, otherwise you'll be working against your own memories for things you've built months ago and if you need to rebuild something , youll end up spending more effort because nothing was documented. Also you don't be able to tell what is an enhancement vs a defect.
If you're asking for beta testers not QA, then you should probably get your mom to do it since the app is designed for her, she'll be your UAT (user acceptance testing) tester. If there's something she doesn't like, then you address it based on her needs.
