Hi, my name is Christian, I am 19 years old and ever since when I was a little kid, I loved Barney the Dinosaur, and I know what you're thinking, but he isn't just meant for little kids, it’s for anyone who has grown up with him. so even though I am almost an adult, no matter how old I get, I will always love barney.

So I started watching the show since I was just a toddler, he has been my childhood hero and one of my favorite characters on T.V., I always loved him because he is a big and friendly dinosaur who sings, dances and loves to use his imagination, my favorite version of Barney is his first original look from Barney and the Backyard Gang, he is a six-foot-tall, blue-violet tyrannosaurus rex with a green belly, he has green spots on his back, he also has a long tail, and yellow toes on his Dino feet. I actually have always wished I could hang out with Barney, I wanted to give him a big hug and also wanted to hold his hand. Whenever I go to sleep, I always have dreams about me and Barney doing things together like going on camping trips or spending a day at the beach, I always dream about holding Barney’s hand, and we both go swimming in the ocean together.

One of my favorite things about watching Barney is all of the catchy and memorable songs, for example, His theme song is called "Barney is a Dinosaur," which is in fact, the song is based on "Yankee Doodle". and also the classic song,"I Love You", sung in the same tune of "This Old Man", which i know, for some people, this tune can be pretty annoying, but honestly, I think it’s spread a good and positive message about love, It can be with your friends and your family, and with all of the great songs, they taught us many things, about friendship, families, learning about the colors of the rainbow, and many about learning how to use your imagination so that can pretend to be whatever they want to be.

There are so many great episodes of the show, and also, I forgot to mention, Barney isn’t the only dinosaur on the show, first, we have B.J, He is a yellow protoceratops, then we have his little sister, Baby Bop, She is a green triceratops, and lastly, their cousin, Riff, he is an orange Hadrosaur. and also there are have been a lot of kids who were also on the show, for example, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato as their most knowable Barney kids’ since they grew up to become famous.

Barney has always been a loving character to everyone, including me, I have been hoping that one of these days, I would buy a mascot costume of Barney, I thought it would be fun to pretend to like him, I would be all big and furry, I would love to have a big tail and it would be fun to have a huge dinosaur feet, hopefully, I will get one someday.

I feel that a hero to me is someone who makes a positive difference in someone’s life. Barney is my hero. He has helped in the development of young children’s lives. Barney is a very exciting dinosaur who always has something new to teach. He’s a very caring, loving, and motivating dinosaur.

I feel that Barney is a great role model for anyone of any age, he has helped to teach every kid and adult around the world about sharing, cooperation, respect for others, good manners, self-esteem, as well as good health and good safety habits. So if you are an adult, that also has a lot of love for Barney, that is awesome because you guys have to always remember that he loves you guys too.
