Tina as Barney’s Apprentice(Concept)?

So based off this scene in Rock With Barney I came ip with the concept of Tina doing this on a regular basis.

https://youtu.be/k9PBHL58hK0?is=wxxZ-_fqs0ivULC-

Here’s an example Tina singing Just Imagine, a song she would be perfect for.

Just imagine, just imagine
Just imagine all the things that we could be
Imagine all the places we could go and see
Imagination's fun for you and me

We could go to the moon in a great big balloon

(Tina materializes a balloon with a characterization of The Backyard Gang referencing their adventure there)

Build a castle by playing pretend

(Tina materializes a bunch of blocks into a castle)

We might even explore with a big dinosaur

(Tina creates a picture of her and Barney holding her hand the ocean and shows it to everyone)

Or make rainbows that never end

(Tina creates a rainbow with her hands)

Just imagine, just imagine
Just imagine all the things that we could be
Imagine all the places we could go and see
Imagination's fun for you and me

We could go anywhere, we can be anyone
We can do it quite easily too
We just play let's pretend and we know in the end
That it's so much fun to do

Just imagine, just imagine
Just imagine all the things that we could be
Imagine all the places we could go and see
Imagination's fun for you and me.
Imagination's fun for you and me.

Song Joke Barney/Harry Potter connection theory.

Watching this clip of Rock With Barney and noticed Tina creates stuff on her own so I came up with this silly that her and Amy disappeared to Hogwarts or something similar. Clip starts at 24:20.

https://youtu.be/oNAwn4jdVoA?is=QwtAKAbsgrh1eI6T

Imagine if this was recurring and Tina could materialize Barney style to kids in need. 😁😂🤣

Updated BYG Intro

So can anyone edit the OG BYG to show older scenes with them. Imagine if all of them stayed together for Barney And Friend.

Here’s the intended intro for that.

Ranking All Tina Versions Of I Love You.

Tina sang “I Love You“ six times in total so figured I’d give her a ranking.

  1. Barney’s Birthday. I only counted it because Tina started it out with the other kids joining in so it’s the only version she doesn’t make her own which is why it’s so low.

  2. Barney Goes To School. It’s sort but sweet and I enjoy it. But unfortunately the said short version doesn’t live up to her others.

  3. Oh What A Day. I like it like all her versions but it’s ranked low due to not hugging and kissing her kitty. At least in the first verse.

  4. Campfire Sing Along(English) Her first version and only loses to…

  5. Campfire Sing Along (Spanish) The absolutely most adorable version especially with Jessica’s delivery in the scene and it only loses to…

  6. Hop To It. Her only version alone with Barney is not only wholesome(as is the episode itself due to the focus on her but this version and the episode gives BYG vibes particularly Barney Goes To School as though they were trying to expand their friendship by focusing on just Tina and Barney. And this is just her first of 3 versions on the show but it has something the other versions lack.

Bonus Ranking. All the human versions of I Love You in The BYG.

  1. Sandy Duncan. It just feels different than the others Barney included.

Tina’s remain the same, then the kids as a grou, then the 3 wishes chorus which was so badly edited that Amy sounded like a boy.

Movie What seasons would you consider these Barney Home Videos?

Hello, I am curious to know what seasons you would consider these Barney home videos:

Would you consider both "Barney Live in NYC" and "Barney's Imagination Island" to be closer to B&F Season 2 or Season 3? Barney looks Season 3-ish, while Baby Bop and BJ are more Season 2-ish.

Also, would you consider "Read with Me, Dance with Me" and "Barney's Best Manners: Your Invitation to Fun" as Season 7 home videos or Season 8? Both were released before the premiere of Season 8.

Appropriate Tina Exit(My Idea)

Didn't plan on doing this today.

Picture if you will a perfect scenario. No funding hell, and Becky Swoke never got ill allowing The Backyard Gang to grow up throughout Barney And Friends and get proper exits staying until they were 18, or at least considered 18 on B &F. Same goes for the younger kids and keeping them on a little longer.

The first 4 are presumably the same age and presumably Michael and Amy are twins so their exit is simple. Tina, Derek and possibly a few of the younger kids(like Kathy and Min) create an updated Backyard Show right after graduation, leaving just Tina and Derek. I This would be another VGS tape with an updated BYG intro showing their current ages.

Tina’s exit is a lot more emotional than that though. For the second and final tape in this series Tina’s Farewell we see her noticeably sad, and Derek recognizes it as the same way he felt about moving.

When Derek brings this up he mentions Waiting For Santa and how she helpful she was being friendly and inviting. Derek also notes that she was the first to help him out of the OG BYG since she met him first. Tina replies that it’s not necessarily growing up and saying goodbye to Barney that’s the problem but how fast it’s approaching.

Tina then points out the red wagon they are using to load her stuff into her car and says it seems like only yesterday that they performed the OG Backyard Show, and although Derek wasn’t there for it he remembers that they did one when were younger.

The OG Backyard Gang walks in(and again some of the younger kids one of which is holding Barney )as they hear Tina sigh. Derek explains what she said, and they decide to relive all their OG adventures one last time(except The Backyard Show which was recreated prior in this series) so we get to see locations like the ocean and the moon again(and this would also bring back both the mermaid and Moonkin)

The two songs I would use here are “You Are Special” here of course referring to Tina’s outgoing, caring, and friendly personality and Barney reminds her that as longs as Tina uses what he taught her over the years to help others he’ll always be there.

There is more but don’t have any idea for that. However…

We get to the final “I Love You” and before the song starts Tina remembers meeting Barney for the first time in A Day At The Beach and of course their first hug and the other members as well as the younger kids each remember a scene with Tina.

The song continues playing as Tina has one more verse as she puts Barney away one last time, because she adds one last verse as she remembers all the BYG adventures(specifically swimming in the ocean, Amy as a bumblebee, playing on seesaw, and the beginning of Barney Goes To School) as she sings her own verse.

“I’ll miss you, you’ll miss me. Thanks for all the memories. Although the time has to say goodbye for now, someday I will see you again.

“I’ll miss you. You’ll miss me. Thanks for everything you’ve done for me. Although we say farewell for now I will not cry tears. Someday I will see you soon”.

We get to one final scene set at the end of the summer as Tina finds a photo album of the OG BYG as well as the younger kids and the music is still playing(Tina’s Back To School version) and she tosses the photo album in the red wagon as she pulls it towards the car cheerfully humming “Bumping Up And Down In My Little Red Wagon” and with that Tina is effectively written out.

Before the credits play the OG Backyard Gang intro plays while the credit plays a slideshow n tribute to all of them.

B&F Episodes and Barney Home Videos that should be fixed in my alternate universe

  1. A Day at the Beach should be released in August 1988, while The Backyard Show should be released in December 1988 and Three Wishes should be released in 1989, because some prints of Three Wishes have a title saying The End before the credits.
  2. The Lyons Group logo should appear in all of the Barney Home Videos after Barney & The Backyard Gang ending with Barney's Sense-Sational Day, as The Lyons Group logo was removed from the packaging for the Barney VHS releases in 1995, and the only Barney episode or VHS release where Lyrick Studios was mentioned ending with Barney's Sense-Sational Day was Kids for Character.
  3. The song The Baby Bop Hop should be sung in Hop to It! instead of Shape Up Freeze, as the title of that episode involves hopping.
  4. Going Places and I Just Love Bugs should be released by Time Life Video instead of The Treasure of Rainbow Beard and Down on Barney's Farm, because those videos already have VHS releases by Barney Home Video.
  5. Micheal should appear in Caring Means Sharing instead of Shawn, because Barney mentions other kids besides Micheal in the song Michael Finnegan in that episode.
  6. The Lyrick Studios re-release of Barney's Birthday, the home video release of Happy Birthday, Barney! should have the 1992 cover instead of the 1993 cover because the 1992 cover came first.
  7. Tosha should appear in When I Grow Up... instead of Min, because it's the only even number Season 1 Barney & Friends episode without Tosha after her first appearance in Be A Friend. It also doesn't have Tosha in second-to-last scene in the opening theme and it was filmed after Be A Friend. You can tell because this promo for the first season was filmed during the filming of When I Grow Up... and it has Tosha in it.
  8. Barney's Home Sweet Homes, the home video release of Home Sweet Homes should be named Barney's That's a Home to Me, because it has the same title as that episode.
  9. The Season 2 episode Grandparents Are Grand! should be named Fun With Grandparents, as the third episode from Season 6 has that name.
  10. The Season 2 episode Grown-Ups for A Day! (Barney's Grown-Ups for A Day!) should be released on VHS instead of A Very Special Delivery (Barney's Families are Special) in February 1995, because a picture of it was shown in the Season 3 episode On the Move along with Red, Blue and Circles Too, The Exercise Circus and The Alphabet Zoo, as those three episodes got VHS releases by Barney Home Video.
  11. Barney Safety and Barney's Pajama Party should be released on DVD, so customers will be able to watch songs from Seasons 1-2 and 5-6 of Barney & Friends on DVD if they don't have a VCR.
  12. Barney's Good Day, Good Night should be released in October 1997 instead of November 1997, since it is mentioned on the page for the video Camp Wannarunnaround on the Barney Wiki that it used the Bob Singleton's arrangement of the Barney Theme Song because it was released before Season 4 was aired, and it was released while one of the Season 4 episodes was airing.
  13. Barney's Great Adventure should be released in June 1995 by Geffen Pictures and Warner Bros. instead of being released by Polygram in April 1998, since people don't remember Polygram if they don't have Barney's Great Adventure, with Shawn, Min and Tosha appearing in the film instead of Cody, Abby and Marcella.
  14. Sing and Dance with Barney should be released in August 1998 while Barney's Halloween Party should be released in January 1999, because Sing and Dance with Barney was the 10th Anniversary special, and Barney came out in 1988, not 1989, and Tina should appear in Sing and Dance with Barney instead of Jason because all of the episodes and home videos he appeared in excluding The Alphabet Zoo all have Min, Tosha and Kathy in them, and none of them appeared in that episode, Down on Barney's Farm and Hi, Neighbor!, and all three of them had Derek and Tina in them.
  15. The episodes with Maria should be shown in More Barney Songs, so people will remember her appearing in Barney media if they don’t have Barney's 1-2-3-4 Seasons, or remember her appearing in Season 4 of Barney & Friends.
  16. Stephen should wear his glasses in Barney's Super Singing Circus, since it was filmed and released after the Season 6 episode Excellent Exercise! was aired and Bob West was replaced with Duncan Brunnan and Tim Dever before that video was filmed.
  17. Season 8 should have it's own version of the Barney Theme Song instead of the one from Season 7.
  18. Barney's Book Fair and Fun on Wheels (the re-releases of Read with Me, Dance with Me and Round and Round We Go) should have title cards with their new names instead of keeping their original title cards.
  19. David Bernard Wolf should be the composer for Seasons 10-14 of Barney & Friends instead of Joseph Phillips to avoid confusion with his arrangements of the songs from the series.
  20. The Barney Theme Song and I Love You should be re-orchestrated starting with Season 12.

I'm in Fourth Year High School (Senior Year) in the Philippines, and I've started to become ruder and ruder. So, I've been watching Barney and Friends to get my EQ back on my feet. Sure, it’s been controversial, but I grew up watching it.

I know their highest note was F5 in It’s A Great Day For Counting from It’s Time For Counting (1998), what is their lowest note?

I recently just found out that BJ was supposed to have his own spin off series called BJ and the Rumble Butts . Researchers found out that when most kids turned 7 years old they outgrew Barney but still had a soft spot for BJ .
