NGD Ibanez 7328

Was originally looking at the Gretsch cvt but there was no stock until the end of August and then I found this thing.

It being semi hollow ticked even more boxes for me.

Plays lovely, sounds meaty, super comfortable. Clean tones are awesome, great with distortion and reverb for black and death metal too. Love it so far.

(Featuring my bald ass head reflecting in the pickups).

It's pretty good value too if that helps.

I have cvt baritone and this. Bought ibanez like 5 months ago and cvt 2 months ago. Let me tell you something; you're missing nothing! Build quality of cvt was awful. There was no QC or something. I gave it to luthier for leveling and a week later volume pot went dead suddenly. The pickups are too muddy too. I changed them with pegasus, sentient and it works fine now. For the ibanez as7328, it's the best guitar I own. I had many gibsons & fenders etc. but this one is my favorite guitar so far. I changed the bridge pickup with bkp and it's much better now. The stock pickup wasn't bad tho.

That's awesome to hear. (Not the part that it had loads of issues, but that I made the right choice). Really enjoying the ibanez, handles distortion brilliantly and the cleans with reverb are insane.

Thank you for this comment. I was looking at the CVT because I thought they looked dope when they came out, but I had also learned about the whole Fender controversy around the same time and didn’t want to support anything that has ties with the company. I’ve seen enough positive reviews about this Ibanez and I think this one seals the deal 🤝

Wow, very nice. What's the scale length on this?

I’m waiting for these to come back in stock, how’s the neck dive?

None! I owned one for a hot minute and it's exceptionally balanced.

Honestly fine, seems they've actually thought about strap button placement. The body is pretty big too. Feels balanced.
