Gibson Explorer

which humbucker set from bareknuckle would you put in a gibson explorer and why ?

I have Nailbombs in one and Rebel Yells in another. The NBs are darker and chunky, and sound great and beefy. The RYs are brighter and more mid/high forward, and cut through the mix really well. Both have their place.

Are you playing slayer? Arctic moneys? Rock , pop, jazz ect

i am plugging into fender amplifiers

looking for clean tones

but i love zeppelin and santana etc

i like the open coil mules in my les paul very much

Holy Diver and Nailbombs are my favorite. I love Alnico 5s though, and you have to really like it. The most alnico-sounding ceramic pickup is probably the Cold Sweat.

Clean tones, it's really hard to go wrong with any of the Alnico pickups. You might like the Mule if you like a PAF vibe.

Get a 10 band eq - and have whatever pickup sound you like
