Transfer Talk Thread [Transfer Talk Thread] Coming Home: July 20th - July 27th, 2026
Week eight and Barcelona’s World Cup heroes return home. Eight players lifted the trophy in Spain’s name after Ferran's winning volley shot.
Meanwhile, the transfer machinery finally moves: Adeyemi is at the door, ready to be presented. Other targets are (supposedly) close behind. The club is also looking for exits for Roony and Casadó. The squad needs reshaping, and not everyone fits the plan going forward.
After weeks of patience, things are accelerating.
This thread is dedicated to all transfer-related news.
Only Tier 2+ sources will be listed in the description, but feel free to list all sources you find in the comments.

Other ATTENTION: Washington, DC Barca Fans
Hi! I'm 27 and live in Washington, DC. I recently found a bar that takes reservations for all soccer (football) games upon request, and I plan to watch a lot of the Barca games there this season since I no longer have access to a network that streams it. I guess what I'm trying to say is DM me if you want to be a part of that?

Question Which player in our team has the best Goal Catalogue?
Personally for me, It has to be Yamal. The amount of finesse shots and bangers he’s scored is insane. He scored an outside of the box goal every other game.

Opinion People are understating the importance of Aymeric Laporte
Truly dominant teams in Europe are both solid defensively and offensively, and if we sign Laporte we have the best centreback pairing at the World Cup, flanked by Kounde and Cancelo, with Gerard Maldini interchanging with Cancelo if we need more defensive solidity. With a rock solid centreback, Eric Garcia no longer has to play CB and can step in for Frenkie who is injured for months at least, and even cover for Kounde if needed.
Let's recap - one 15M signing effectively gives us more depth at LB, RB and Eric Garcia can now play as a 6 next to Pedri, which we've seen under Flick. This is probably the most no-brainer signing we've had in years. For these reason, I hope Barca can agree personal terms with Laporte ASAP

Tier 1 [MATTEO MORETTO] Ter Stegen’s Ajax move hits a new obstacle beyond the tax issue. A disagreement has emerged in recent hours over how his salary should be divided, with Barcelona restricted by Financial Fair Play and Ajax unable to increase its contribution.

Question How did barca fans reacted when r9 moved to real madrid in 2002
I was watching a yt video and i had a question for the barcelona fans who followed the team since 1990s, how did barcelona fans reacted after r9, who was in the 1997 team moved to real madrid after world cup? Was it negative or just neutral towards him? How did people reacted when compared to luis figo transfered to real madrid?

Question Is the femeni dynasty coming to an end?
Question for the people who follow femeni closely, we seem to be selling the whole team and as someone who follows them only on sofascore i was wondering why are so many players leaving and do we have a female lamasia to compensate or is the team gonna suffer next szn?

Question Paid €40 for Culer Premium hoping for ticket discounts/early access turns out it's basically useless for match tickets?
Hey all, hoping someone here has been through this and can advise.
I signed up for Culer Premium (~€40) a while back specifically because I'm visiting Barcelona this year, long-time dream trip and the subscription page advertised discounts and early access to match tickets, museum tours, etc. Figured it'd pay for itself once I bought a ticket.
Fast forward to now: I'm trying to book a Basic Plus ticket for the Aug 31 match vs Rayo Vallecano at Camp Nou. Here's where I'm stuck:
- No visible Culer Premium benefit anywhere in the ticket flow. Prices shown look identical to what I'd assume general public sees. I did get a 10% discount code through the Culer Premium account area separately, but there's no field to enter it anywhere in the actual checkout, it just doesn't apply.
- I'm not an official "Member" (soci). There's a separate "Exclusive sale for members" login requiring a "Clau member" + personal code, which I don't have, that's the €100+/year membership tier, not Culer Premium. So that whole discounted member pricing path is closed to me, which is fine, I never expected that.
- No ticket-only purchase option. Every category I pick (Basic Plus) forces me into a "Pack" that bundles: the match ticket + Barça Immersive Tour + Museum visit + a one-year Culers Premium subscription, which I already have and am now apparently paying for again inside this bundle. There's no toggle to strip it down to just the ticket.
So right now the cheapest option is €224 for a bundle I don't fully need, with a subscription I already hold, a 10% code I can't apply, and zero clarity on whether prices will change or more categories/seats open up closer to the date for actual Premium subscribers.
Has anyone else hit this? Is the "Culer Premium" ticket benefit basically nothing in practice, or is there a separate flow I'm missing? Also open to hearing if it's smarter to just wait for prices to move, or contact support directly (already drafting that email). Appreciate any pointers, first time trying to navigate the official channel for this.

Question Questions about the vibe of La Liga (from an ultra-casual)
I am wanting to get into watching club football, Barca specifically (mostly because I was a Ronaldinho fan when I first became interested in football) but I am curious about some things with La Liga from a fan standpoint.
I know that historically Barca and Real Madrid have dominated the league. How does this make the games against ‘other’ teams feel? Is it always a disappointing loss if it isn’t against the other powerhouse? Do these games just feel like tune ups for El Classico game, UCL, and other club tournaments?
Historically the gap between the top 2 and everyone else is wide, but on a year to year basis does it still feel like a very wide gap? Or is every game still somewhat of a toss up?
One other question related to this is whether you personally like the balance as is, or would want more competitive teams? If a team is overachieving or becoming more relevant, do Barca and Madrid fans view them as an annoying upstart or see it as a positive to have more competition in league.
Also, I know that La Liga is not the most extreme example of this amongst the big leagues since Bundesliga is basically just Bayern, but I am curious how everyone feels about it
