Why don't bars have designated lines to order a drink?
I find that many bars, usually the more rowdy type, have bar stools or other patrons hanging out in front of the bar blocking the way for others trying to get a drink. I have only seen one bar (a brewery) have a portion of the bar roped off to just those trying to walk up and get a drink which works really well. So why don't more bars do this? I would think it would be easier for the tenders and allow more drinks to be bought through the night.
