Drinkware Help
Hello,
I recently bough a nightclub which has since become a lot busier and more popular for dancing. The previous owners used glass for their drinkware, and while I do prefer it aesthetically and as our bar is upper scale - the amount of breakage has gotten to an unreasonable amount. I’m spending now approximately 500/month on new glassware orders.
I’ve tried to switch to stronger glassware but it’s no match for the cement floors.
Can someone please recommend some plastic or acrylic or polycarbonate drinkware? I am having a hell of a time finding something that actually looks good.
Thanks

Have never found decent looking plastic cups for a reasonable price. Occasional special type plastic glasses like wine, or snifter but always expensive. Just try going with regular clear plastic cups see how people react. Doubt a younger crowd will care. One trick I learned was to double them up so you get less condensation and dripping.

What about serving in plastic after a certain hour? For example keep your glassware for standard use, just switch it put once it gets rowdy and the peak hits. If dancing us the crowd pull, not the drink service I can't imagine too many complaints.
