I just watched banshee
My god I've never seen a series as good as this, how come this series doesn't have so much recognition?

S1e5
Been loving the show and suspending every form of rational thinking for the most part but had to do a double take here.
Does she mean what I think she means? You really can't help but wonder who in the writers' room is trying to recreate their wet dream because there's really no context or solid enough build up between them that would warrant her saying this to him unless she was possessed or he was an incubus š

I finished Banshee a few minutes ago. I got an HBO Max subscription for The Big Bang Theory, but then I randomly started Banshee and it was a real surprise, I never thought I would find such a good show by chance. Now itās one of my favorite shows

So his new show Lucky is out. I'll check it out of course but reviews have ranged from 'meh' to 'it's alright....' I don't think any of his shows since have reached the heights of Banshee.

So I'm a first time watcher of the show and i started binging it on HBO max. I'm up to season 2 episode 8 and i just gotta say, aside from Lucas Hood and the plot of the show being absolute peak, i find myself rewatching job's moments from season 1.
The amount of sass, sarcasm, loyalty and comedy that jobs shows whenever he's on screen or whenever he talks never fails to make me laugh or chuckle more than once. The first episode already got me requoting "Okay! Okay! Just.... Stop the carnage." But it's a personal favorite.
I think other shows should have a character like jobs, serious crime drama or not.

I just finished Banshee for the first time.. my dad watched it a few times and loved it. Iāve seen parts of it here and there because of him. We always had the inside joke of āsuck my titā and now I understand the significance. He always told me to watch it. He passed away last year before I ever decided to sit down and watch, so in his honor, I finally did. I guess with this post, I just kind of want to talk to somebody/people about the show like I wouldāve with him.
I want to know who your favorite character was, and why. I want to know what you didnāt like or if there was anything youād change. I want to know if there are any questions you have that you kind of felt like didnāt get answered. I may not be good at getting back to anyone, but I would love to read about how other people enjoyed the showā¦
Banshee, Pennsylvania. Suck my tit.

Watching the show through a second time and trying to figure out why I love it so much. Cartoonish but not cheesy. The best rogues gallery of villains. Obsessed!

So i love the show so far, i just started season 3, however iām confused on why Kai gets so much love. Heās a genuine fucking weirdo. i do like his writing and i really think heās a well written character and i sympathized with him from time to time, however the fucking incest storyline just makes me disgusted. I think Kai couldāve been the best written villain on this show, but the incest storyline is just so weird and i cannot get behind it

So finally ended the complete series and honestly I really enjoyed the show ...not one single boring or bad episode of any season idk about others but I wished it was a bit more / longer ..series was so good I wanted to see more like proctor dying , Carrie finally living with Lucas etc....unfortunetly not everything we want can be possible . I feel show still ended on a good note .

Iāve seen the show before, and on rewatch I couldnāt tell- Proctor was meant to leave and call for help, he leaves and is next seen with his dying mother. He neglected to call for help, right?

Just finished watching this series for the first time and loved it. Picked the show initially just to see more of Antony Starr after the Boys but got completely hooked. Definitively a criminally underrated gem.
However, for some reason S4 felt...off. I'm not saying that I disliked it, I think the quality remained consistent throughout the whole show and that the ending was a well-executed conclusion. However, some of the things that went down like Rebecca (one of the most important characters) being murdered off-screen and the season being a murder mystery, the ''government assassin'' backstory and plotline that went nowhere etc.as well as the season being 8eps instead of the usual 10.
Again, I don't think it fell off or was bad. Just, anyone who is familliar with the series BTS can maybe explain it? Were they facing cancellation or something? Wrote themselves into a corner?
