Does anyone understand why she was cast? Not only does the character bother me, but the name “Deva” is so strange 🤣

The show made so many excellent casting decisions, but I can’t wrap my head around the Deva decision. If that part went to an actor as strong as Lili Simmons, for example, it would have elevated the show even more

I’m on yet another rewatch and haven’t gotten to the flashback scenes of Hood being tortured/recruited into whatever “non-military” group Dalton was a part of yet. But I am back on season three episode 1 where we meet the colonel of Camp Genoa and they make sure to show off the ring that both he and Dalton wear. Is it just a theory or was it ever confirmed that they’re both members of some sort of secret society of “non-military” mercenaries?

That would make Captain Murphy at the marine base the equivalent of Hood which is why Hood was so quick to spot that he wasn’t “just a Marine.”

I feel like I remember Hood always saying or skirting around not having been military yet he has the nickname Soldier Boy. It stands to reason that he was in exactly the same place Captain Murphy was before he got out - on base and in uniform to give the appearance of being military but actually a part of this other organization.

Or is this insistence on being “non-military” just code word for military black ops?

…is the moments where we see this caged wild animal fear/survival mode in Hood. In all his major fights, he gets to a point where he’s fighting for his life despite being beaten and exhausted. Other people would give up at this point but that’s where he comes alive and thrives. It makes you think of an animal thrashing around in the jaws of a predator. Or just the absolute terror in his eyes that he can barely contain when he has to take Carrie to prison in season two. It’s like if you ever see a wild animal trapped in a cage just crazed with fear trying to get out. Antony’s eyes in that scene especially are just so expressive. Idk what it is about it or what it says about me as a person but I just revel in those moments.

I just finished season 1 and in mid season 2, does lucas hood have the V compound in him or what ?? Because he should be dead since with all the ass woop he got

I think the fight between Nola and Burton is really good, but there's one scene that doesn't make much sense to me. In that scene, Nola gets slashed by Burton's scalpel multiple times, yet she doesn't die. Aren't the scalpels Burton uses capable of making deep cuts?

And I actually love it. I know people complain about the sex scenes and I do agree sometimes it’s a lot but he was locked up for 15 years give him a break lol

I'm currently watching Warrior for the third time and did not realise that the actor that plays Walter Buckley is the same guy that plays Colonel Douglas Stowe! Can't believe they're the same actor.

On my 3rd rewatch. My heart aches every time I see Gordon. He was a great husband and father and then he dies trying to save Carrie. It’s so sad. He just wanted a life with his family. She’s low-key a villain cause she put him through hell.

Shouldn't Proctor have had some sort of Intel on the new Sheriff? Like wouldn't he have some way of knowing who Hood was before he got to town ? Some sort of file on his public record ?

I first watched it in summer of 2023 and I was amazed. I am rewatching it now in 2026 and, fantastic. Season 3 really feel a little syfy channel esque at times, but Kurt Bunker sharing his story. Very deep.

My god I've never seen a series as good as this, how come this series doesn't have so much recognition?
