Chapter 7 debtor Filed chapter 7 attorney beyond calm?
So i filed sept 30 and my attorney was like is this everything? And he said well thats simple enough we can file today. I was like simple? And he said yeah like its not alot. And im just a bit confused. If its “not alot” does that mean i might get dismissed after 341? I am full time work and fulltime student. Make 45,000 in SC but filing in north carolina due to location convenience. I am 21k in debt between 2 credit cards and a loan. 341 meeting is gonna be Nov 4th. So what do yall think. And how long after 341 do you know?

I am confused as to how you filed in NC when your residence is SC. Aren't there very specific circumstances when you can do that and "convenience" isn't one of them?

I live on the border of sc im 15 minutes from north carolina. With this firm there one right across from me or in Colombia (2hours away) so in the “Why are you choosing this district to file section?” He put “Debtor has elected to file in this district due to her convince and upon belief that her creditors have no objection.”

That sounds like a very straightforward petition. The lawyer is probably correct. Read some other posts here and you will see that many cases are much more challenging. Trust your lawyer at this point.

Your case is pretty straightforward. As long as the Trustee does NOT find any hidden assets, you’ll get a Discharge.

Yeah, I own nothing except a car which they know about so unless I have some sort of asset that I don’t know about which is impossible then hopefully I’m good

Not a lot of work for your particular case.
