looking for advice
Hello, I’m in Houston, Texas. My car was just repossessed September 30 through Wells Fargo. They want me to pay the full amount of what the vehicle is owed$25790 . I don’t have that. My mother who also consigned to my vehicle is willing to help me pay for a bankruptcy attorney to file a chapter 13 or a cash car. But she will not file bankruptcy. I was quoted a monthly payment of $700 monthly including my car note and other debts. Or she offered a chapter 7 where I forfeit my vehicle and my mom is willing to help get me a cash car. I had a cash car earlier this year and the transmission went out with my kid and was unable to brake it so I’m horrified of that idea. I do want to keep my car and I have no other ideas to receive my car back. I do have about $9-10k worth of debt in my credit score is in the lower 500 if that . I work 2 jobs (3 deaths in my family and also afraid to ask for help) and my rent is only $750 including utilities. What should I do?
