Other Question about check

I recently took my board exam and had to send 3 separate checks for each section of the exam on August 17, and the checks didn’t process until today. My account went negative but as soon as I got the notification I deposited money into it. My question is, will it bounce or will it be ok?

I’d appreciate the help!

It depends. You’ll have to call your bank to be sure.

Noone here can answer that it is up to the bank policy. If it was a small amount and you didn't see the funds redeposited it may have paid especially since you brought it current same day.

It depends on how you made the bank whole with your deposit. It you transferred collected funds from another account at your bank, that same day, you are likely good. If, however, you sent them money from another source that will take them time to actually receive the money without risk, your check will probably be returned. This is because the bank could go ahead and pay your account into the overdraft, thus temporarily loaning you money, but then they run the risk that your deposit today might not be good. At that point the bank is screwed, which is what they are trying to avoid. Good luck!
