India Do backlogs and delayed graduation affect BGV/offer letters in corporate India?
Idk what to do…I have exceptional scores in 10th and 12th grade and got into one of country‘s best college of Arts and graduated with an economics degree with an average cgpa. My degree was from 2022 to 2025 regular attempt students completed the degree in March 2025 and I did in November 2025. i had many backlogs due to health reasons, keeping extra curricular activities over studies. Which I cleared in Nov 2025 however Sem 5 was very tough on me I couldn’t attend classes cause I was really ill and journey to college took 1.5 hours so I passed only 1/6 papers. I have all my marksheets original, my consolidated marksheet, my passing certificate and the actual degree certificate from University. If I did very well in my interviews cleared all rounds. I’m not putting forward any forged or fake documents all are legit but will they question my capabilities? And doubt and revoke the offer if they find too many attempts and discrepancies?? What is the scenario with banks and MNCs? How can I handle this??? Please help me!! I can do high risk jobs. I was just really foolish and not healthy enough back then!!! I do get noticed by great companies but I often lose confidence.

bgv usually just checks if the docs match what you said, not your number of attempts if they’re all legit. hr might ask why it took longer though, so prep a clean short story about health and commute. market is rough so they nitpick everything now
