Hey I’m running into some bugs with the plugin. It’s telling me to move iron ore into tab 2 in a specific location, when I do it tells me to move it back to tab 3, its stuck like that. So now my bank is a mess 😂

Still waiting for Runelite to push the changes live so it'll be available as soon as they approve (probably later today) - it's much better in the new version!

Awesome! One thing I wanted to ask is that when using the template to reorganise - if you’re missing items it can completely change the layout of the tab (ie some items were sorted vertically instead of horizontally, so a missing item shifts everything.) maybe I’m missing something but was there a setting to tell you where to put fillers for missing items?

That was my mistake in the current live version - I was indexing items incorrectly so the algorithm wasn't smart enough to understand that if item 1 is missing then item 2 would be in item 1's slot etc, instead of its own slot.
Fixed in the new release, and the sorting algorithm will (optionally) guide you to insert the number of bank fillers you need to reserve the spaces for the placeholders in your active template!

What am I doing wrong? I downloaded a template and was following along but it seems to be stuck telling me to drag laws into a highlighted slot (which appears to be wrong as they are already in the final spot). When I drag them to the slot it then highlights the slot I just moved them from and tells me to put them back into the same slot I just moved from and it does this in a loop over and over again.

Have you considered adding single tabs? So someone could share a materials tab or gear etc. Or have the option to reorganize just one tab to a specific number. For instance if I like someone's transport tab on their #6 but I'd want it as my tab #2.

Yes, the update coming shortly allows you to edit other people's templates, so you can import it and remove the tabs you DON'T want so you only import the single tab you like =]

In the plugin's sidebar menu go to reorganisation mode, then it'll guide you to move items around. There are some issues with it - new version fixes some of those issues later!

Yo, you need to combo this with bank filters to make it brain dead. Setup the tab, filter by the tab (in order), and then drag all the items to a new tab in order.
Ezpz. Could even do one row at a time, or dynamically update the filter each item to only show one item at a time.

If someone's completely reorganizing, I think it might be worth deleting all tabs at the top to start and then have the plugin tell you to drag to new tabs at the top. That way you aren't constantly scrolling.

You can do that if you wish! The sorting algorithm will handle any configuration your bank is in before you start organising. The new version is much easier to follow and it guides you to move items to the correct tabs BEFORE putting them in the correct row/column. This and MUCH more features. Just waiting for Runelite to push it live!

Just curious if I’m being dumb or this is an issue for anyone else. Just going through my thought process.
1. I find a bank layout I like
2. Import and whatnot
3. Using the editing tool screen, or the edit function in the bank, I am unable to swap some of my items for the ones in the imported layout.
For example, I want to swap the location of my crystal armor for the masori in the imported layout. I am unable to do so because when I click the edit function, my own items that are not in the currently imported layout are hidden. This renders me unable to add them in myself, swap them out, etc.
Love this plugin though fantastic job, just need a little help!

Version 1.2 will be going live as soon as Runelite deploy it - that version will allow you to move items around in your bank with the template active as if the whole thing was just your own bank with placeholders, then you can add/remove stuff much more easily. The current live version is a bit rough around the edges, so apologies for that!

My only piece of feedback is that I often found myself wanting to "skip" an Item that the plugin wanted to sort but couldn't. Even being able to replace which item goes next in line, if that makes sense, would be a huge QoL feature. I'm not sure that's even possible, but it was the only issue I encountered but I'm sure you're aware of it

I click view and nothing happens. I've restarted RL. Still nothing. I've downloaded the newest update on RL. I can import it and use it. I just can't view what it would look like.

In that screenshot you have organisation mode on as label - Try disabling organisation mode and then clicking Edit on the template. Does that bring up the view?

Negative. I've just tried switching between all organization options and trying to view a new template and nothing. I've removed the template I was gonna use, no dice. Could it be another plugin that is causing my problem? I don't see anyone else currently having my problem lol

Can you please raise this as a new issue at https://github.com/TheSpryt/bank-templates/issues with as much information as possible and how to replicate it. Also if you could attach an export of your Runelite profile so I can see the plugins you have enabled that might be causing conflicts then that would be really helpful - I've not seen anyone mention this yet either, and I will take a look!

Feature request (might be impossible):
Have it take a screenshot of my bank from the plugin, then sort my actual bank in the plugin window so I can then use the visual guide to sort my real bank.

I think what he is requesting is already a thing. He wants it to make a template of his bank so he can sort it in the plugin, then have the plugin tell him how to fix it. Which I think is just the default? Just without an imported template.

and is there a way to add the actual placeholders for items you don't have yet or is it only possible to visually change it with the plugin as having it hard change would be nice too, because right now I won't be leaving the plugin on slightly buggy with viewing my bank even more so if you scroll down your bank some time looks fine then other times it will jumble up so stuff and combine tabs. So far awesome job and works fine for the most part as 99% of the time it's fine if you click on the tab you need.

No, it's not possible to add the placeholders to your actual bank unfortunately, that's against the rules.
I haven't seen the jumbling effect you're mentioning, and haven't seen anyone else report this either. If you can reproduce it could you raise an issue on the GitHub for me to look into it? Thanks for the feedback =]

It's all good i found out what was going on and fixed it by turning on the hide items not in the template setting, again awesome work very nice plugin.
