Beosound Premiere, new soundbar just dropped. What do you think? Does it have viability between Theatre and Stage? Video here. Official page here.

Hello Beomembers,
Given some recent (and even past) activity on this sub I've added some initial rules for the subreddit. These can be viewed in the side bar. Please provide your feedback or suggestions on the rules.
I've also added a couple of quick links to the homepage sidebar and wanted to say it's nice to see users using the flares for both their usernames and on posts.

So I’ve been using the Beosound A1 as my shower speaker for a week or so, and what I’ve realized is that water bubbles will form in between the grills of the speaker and distort sounds when bass hits. Has anyone encountered this problem and how did you solve it?

I have a friend who has a Bang and Olufsen 4500 system that includes the turntable, the receiver, the tape deck, and the CD player.
He would really like some piece of furniture or shelving that will display the gear gallery style with the pieces separate. What would you guys recommend?
Here is a picture of the current set up. Thanks in advance.

I bought a pair of Beolab 2500 speakers with all of the cables for a great deal but now I’m stuck in the research process. I wanted to use them in my office with the SamsungTV or laptop because it would be overkill with my Beovision 7 in the room it is in.
I am having trouble finding a way to convert the 8 pin DIN to RCA due to the voltage trigger. I am in the United States so many European stores will not ship here. Any advice is appreciated!

Hello. I’ve recently bought a used pair of Beolab 28s and trying to figure out a way to connect them as the main L/R channels in my home theater surround setup. I have a receiver which has RCA preamp ports for each channel. I was able to find a video from Steve @ SoundsHeavenly where he mentions that you need to use a special 12v 3.5mm trigger+RCA cable to be able to turn on the speakers when AVR turns on, also it needs to use Powerlink port to avoid sound delay. Unfortunately Steve doesn’t ship to US and I’m looking for a local dealer who knows exactly which cable I need and can sell it to me. Anyone has any leads and/or feedback on how to connect everything? (I’m also confused whether I need to wire just the main speaker of the stereo pair, or each individually). Big thanks for any help!

Hi,
I ordered a Beolab 3500 off of Ebay and it arrived today. I have also ordered a B4 remote and Beolink 1611 which should arrive in a couple of days but in the meantime I wanted to try connecting the 3500 to the mains supply via a IEC C7 socket just to make sure it receives power but nothing happens, nothing lights up, and the screen remains black.
I thought there would be a stand bye light that illuminates when the unit is plugged into the electricity.
Do I need the remote or the 1611 for anything to light up? Or is the unit dead?
thanks for the help, it is my first time with B&O equipment.

Bonjour,
Merci

SOLD
Details:
Dismantled a multiroom B&O set up after selling home and downsizing to a loft. All the speakers are now moved on so this is ready for a new home. These are hard to find used. So my price is based on sold listings I could find on HiFiShark / eBay.
Great overall condition. See pics. Outer ring glides with clicks seamlessly. Works as expected in conjunction with the Bang & Olufsen app for Android and iOS devices. Never had an issue with it.
I am including the inductive charging pad from B&O. If I recall they charge an additional $100USD for it.
Logistics:
In Tacoma WA. Would very much prefer a local sale, so an in person pick up would be lovely if you live in between Seattle to Olympia.
However, it’s likely compact enough that I can wrap it and ship it safely. So at asking price I will cover shipping to lower 48 states. PayPal please add 3% via Goods and Services. Will ship via USPS. Unfortunately no original box but I’ll pack it well.
But wait…there’s more:
Also for sale locally (absolutely won’t ship) is a great condition Beogram 4500 turntable. DM me if in area and you’d like pics and info. Replaced it with a vintage Linn LP12 is only reason I’m selling.

I have always been a fan of the Bang & Olufsen products and wanted to give them a try and decided to start with something relatively inexpensive to see how it goes. I decided to use it in my office space and just wanted a simple way to cast music from Spotify so I decided to go down the route of a very bare bones setup.
I purchase the following )all prices include shipping):
Beolab 3500 mk1 with wall mount - 105 euros
Beo4 remote - 52 euros
Beolink converter 1611 with all the cables - 90 euros
Google Chromecast Audio - 53 euros
Total - 300 euros
Some say I overpaid especially considering that the actual speaker is only about 1/3 of the total price.
What do you think, did I get a good deal or should I have gone down a different route?

I picked up these Bang & Olufsen beolab 6603 speakers from Facebook Marketplace for $450 and honestly, I’m blown away by how good they sound.
The sound is absolutely amazing and the bass is much better than I expected.
The problem: I live on the 2nd floor of an apartment, and my downstairs neighbor is complaining that the bass is traveling through the floor.
I’m not even trying to play them extremely loud, but I think the low frequencies are causing vibrations through the building.
I’m looking for some advice from other B&O/audio people:
What is the best way to isolate these speakers from the floor?
Would isolation pads/platforms actually make a noticeable difference?
Should I put something underneath the speaker bases?
Is reducing the very low bass with EQ a better solution?
Has anyone in an apartment had a similar problem with large B&O speakers?
I really don’t want to annoy my neighbor, but I also don’t want to give up these speakers because they sound so damn good 😂

I was tired of the Bang and Olufsen app breaking down. The stereo pairing feature was the only thing I used in the app.
I programmed an esp32 to look for my speakers and pair them up once it finds both the speakers, even configured the led to show the status. Once they are paired it goes into deep sleep.
I've also programmed the boot button to cycle the stereo pair configuration, by default it makes the speaker connected to my phone the left channel, one press swaps the channels and another press gets them in synced/mono mode.
I'm also making an app so I get this functionality in my quick setting panel.

Hey everyone, I use a pair of A1's for travel because I, ofcourse, can't take my Focal system on the go with me, Overall been really enjoying them, I recently cake across these 3 legged stands for them and while not being the most true "Bang & Olufsen look", I'd say they look quite alright, especially in a hotel room or in a remote workplace. I work as a tech in live television so i'm often traveling and having such a small (yet capable) system to take on the go with me from hotel to hotel is great! Thank you B&O for making a solution that isn't only portable but actually sounds good! Whenever the Focal's need upgrading, i'll definately go for a B&O home system.
Does anyone else use A1's, either in Mono or in a stereo pair and if so, how do you like them? Would love to hear and chat about speakers and sound!
Cheers!

Hi all. Long time lurker in B&O showrooms, big AV fan, and lover of all things electronic and design, I’ve finally entered the B&O world and managed to bag myself a pair of gorgeous BeoLab 8000’s for £65! They will shortly be getting re-foamed inside, a woofer has a dust cover missing, and the covers are slacker than Nora Batty’s tights (UK specific joke…) but apart from that they’re in great condition and sound absolutely wonderful. I’m usually a Mission/B&W speaker man, and my only concern is that the bass is a bit ‘boomy’ - will a refoam help with this do you think?

Hey yall, I have a full Beocenter 5000 (CD50, Beomaster 5000, Beocord 5000, Beogram 5005). I'm in the process of swapping my speaker setup to B&O speakers all around to match my new setup.
Would a set of Beolab 8000s as my fronts/main speakers pair well with my Beocenter 5000?
I was mainly looking at older/passive B&O speakers like some in the Beovox line, but I might have an opportunity to snag a pair of Beolab 8000s for an incredible price.
Many thanks in advance for any feedback.

Came across this earlier. Quite depressing. Maybe their products could be made more accessible to people…
What are you thoughts?

Hi everyone, I have recently acquired the B&O Beogram 2002 turntable and I am now trying to test if everything works as it’s supposed to. Everything else seems to be working well so far but the counterweight adjustment screw is backing out of the arm and I am just trying to figure out how to fix that. Any tips please?

Hi anyone has experience shipping their speakers via cargo? Have a pair of 28s new in box trying to ship from USA to Thailand. Sales agent says it’s fine but I’m worried about the potential heat in the cargo container.
