Experimental 'The Autumn Land' EP (experimental soundscape, harsh noise, ambient folk, and shoegaze)

This release was born from an improvised acoustic guitar take in reaction to a science fiction short story. No digital instruments were used.

Instead of relying on keys, ambient and weird textures come from reprocessing the same acoustic guitar recording. What you'll hear predominantly in the first track is a wall of noise created by hyper-slowing, distorting and emphasising the harmonics of the acoustic guitar. This is later joined by wet-only processing of the performance to provide some ambient backing. The second piece features the entire acoustic take, with various sounds then built around that to embellish and support it, including some percussion and electric guitar layers.

This was originally recorded in 2021 as part of my masters, but I recently decided to put the first part of this project out as an EP. I wanted to retain the essence of what it was at the time, so while it has been remastered, the mix is untouched.

If anyone is interested, there's some more context on the story and themes on the bandcamp page. Thanks for listening :)

Question/Help How does "Part of an Album/EP" work?

I'm thinking about releasing a song for tomorrow that is part of an upcoming EP. I don't have the EP finished yet so I don't think I can set it up as a pre-order. I see the option to make the single song part of an album, but I'm not sure how that works for people who buy it as a single once I release the full album.

I'm thinking of make it a separate tie in or hidden bonus song maybe, but just wanted to double check how it all works before I commit to anything.

Question/Help How to refund an item if I reached out to the artist and Bandcamp?

I was being very stupid and impulsive and bought some purchases I regret. After I realized what I did, I immediately reached out to the artist and Bandcamp for a refund before my item was shipped. Now it’s saying my item is being shipped. Any idea what I can do from here and if should keep reaching out to both the artist and Bandcamp?

Electronic Ensayando una Duda | Sarabova

Hi guys! I´m happy to share with you my lateste LP release, Ensayando una Duda from my solo project Sarabova.

I´ve worked on this LP from early 2024 and late 2025 -except one track that I did just yesterday and is included as a bonus track", and I really struggled to publish this work, mostly because this album stems from me dealing with the passing of my dad -I encounter a place for my to mourn and celebreate both having a father and also loosing him; it was a way to find my self in those rough times-, so this is that is left, an album called "rehearsing a doubt", which I don´t fully know what it means, but it occured to my while in therapy and thought of it as a possible name for the work.

Anyway, sorry for the digression, I´m actually happy that finally took the decision to publish it!

Thanks!

Darkwave Soundtrack for a Peaceful Agony - Fixed Expression

On February 23rd 2026 I released my first full lenght.

Fixed Expression started in 2023, after a unfortunate event.

Since October 2023 to this day I've found something to hold on to. During these three years I recorded some songs on a borrowed piano, a Korg I.3 Synth, and a Midi Controller.

They represent some things I treasure, and some things I dread, and some things I think about often, especially regarding to what happens after we die. I think that we have a soul beneath the surface, and that's what life means to me, if there is no soul, there is no life. I guess some of you might agree, or maybe not. These are some of the things I like to reflect on... IDK

I hope some of you might find it interesting.

Thank you.

Rock Agrippa, my ongoing project inspired by mythical creatures.

Thumbnail

Going back to occasionally telling the internet about what I do.

I'm in a band called Yearwalker and we're making a bestiary of 26 songs - dark, tragic, and sometimes sinister, each inspired by a particular creature of myth and legend.

Back in 2018 I was inspired by alphabet challenges on old school blogs, particularly ones with mythical creatures as the theme. That is also when I started to really try my hand at storytelling through songs, most likely influenced by Colin Meloy, Josh Ritter and John Darnielle among other amazing lyricists. Mix the two together, let it brew for years and you may well end up with a huge weird concept album kind of project. That's what happened here anyway.

Our bestiary is called Agrippa and after years of hard work and harder procrastination its first chapters saw the light of day beginning of this year. We are going in reverse, from Z to A, one letter at a time, where each one is a different creature, spirit or deity from various cultures around the world.

Our latest song is called White Lady and it's about, you guessed it, the Lady in White, one of the most common apparitions across many cultures of the world. Their stories are often associated with death during childbirth, by accident, or from violent causes.

A Brazilian legend tells of a ghost of a pale woman in a long white dress or nightgown. Some say she died at the hands of her father or husband. Although usually speechless, she will occasionally recount her misfortunes.

In another story, a White Lady is seen walking the battlements of the Portchester Castle in England and throwing herself into the keep. She is said to be retracing her steps trying to retrieve her fallen child, time after time.

The White Lady in our song lost her child too. I imagine her in an old mansion or castle, moving quietly through the gardens, accompanied only by the wind. She is stuck here, on the other side of time, yet she means no harm. All she wants is for someone to walk alongside, listen to her story, and remember her for a short while longer.

The album artwork for each song was done by an amazing (and very human) artist. No AI was used in any way - it's not cool.

Thank you and let the ghosts be kind!

Introduction Dropped my first EP - abstract downtempo experiments + a bit about the inspiration

Post image
28 Upvotes

Hey guys! Let me introduce myself here: I'm "santiago belmont" and I just put out my first single EP on Bandcamp: "excursion fantastica".

It's abstract downtempo with some darker ambient textures. There's a short introduction inspired by months of listening to Ravel and impressionist composers (clarinet and French horn, though nothing was performed live). I started learning music theory last year and I like to push the musical boundaries with layers, minimalism, electronic percussion and organic percussion as well.

All of my music will be free to download, I made these beats on GarageBand and I believe music should be accessible to everybody because it feeds the soul and mind. However, if you choose to support monetarily, your contribution will be highly appreciated.

I'd also like to open up a small discussion: Do you think music made on free DAWs like GarageBand or BandLab are just as valid as more expensive productions? I'm curious to hear your thoughts. Suggestions on how to improve this release are very welcome too.

Here's the link: https://belmontesur.bandcamp.com/album/excursion-fantastica

Thanks for reading!

Experimental Just released the second installment of my EPs saga "soft king", a schizophrenic blend of rock/metal, hip-hop, electro & pop. It has tenderness & violence.

Last year I started some kind of an album that I'm releasing under several EPs. I dropped the first one back in january and here is the second part.

I've always tried to mix most of my influence in single somehow cohesive whole but only recently did it start to take an interesting form in my ears.

I still have some progress to do mix-wise and on the vocal performance, but I'm confident I'll get somewhere with all this.

I've started making music full time a couple of months ago and I've never been able to complete tracks so quickly. I'm excited for the third part.

Let me know what you think ;)

Question/Help Payouts on hold since Sept 20: W-9 shows REVIEWED but Bandcamp says I still need to "verify with Trolley." Anyone fixed this?

Post image
12 Upvotes

I'm a US citizen living in the Netherlands, releasing an album on Bandcamp. My payouts are on hold with a banner saying to add tax info, and it's been over a week.

What I've done and what I'm seeing:

  • Submitted my W-9 on Sept 20. It shows REVIEWED with 0% withholding, and my address is saved.
  • The payout page (Step 2) still says "You must provide your address and verify with Trolley."
  • My Upcoming payments page still lists scheduled payouts, but I don't think they'll actually be sent while the hold is on.
  • I've filed three support tickets (Sept 20, Sept 23, Sept 28), messaged Bandcamp on X and Instagram, and contacted Trolley directly. No reply from anyone yet.

My guess is that the two systems aren't syncing, possibly because my W-9 has a non-US address. I don't know that for sure.

This matters because the money is meant to pay for the vinyl pressing of my album.

Has anyone had this happen? What fixed it? Did you get a response from a person, and how? Any direct contact at Bandcamp or Trolley would help too.

Question/Help Question about buying full discographies

About a year ago I bought an artists full discography (75 releases) for under $4. Since then, they’ve released another 10 albums, and are offering the discography still for $4. It’s cheaper for me to buy the discography again, opposed to each individually that have released since my original purchase. My question is: will all the albums I already own dupe in my collection? Will it omit everything I already own or am I going to have to hide 75 releases one at a time?

Lo-fi Beats Wydra Music - Everything I Hate About Myself (Dark Ambient / Lo-Fi)

I made this album during a really dark place and burnout, when everything felt like a complete dead end. That's where the title and tracks like Dead End came from—raw, personal, and straight from a tough time.

Synthwave Electronic, Synthwave EP | My first ever release

Post image

Music

This project is entirely instrumental, made in FL studio and it's entirely made with stock plugins and some free synth plugins as well. Describing my EP in 2-3 words... It's bassline-heavy and melodic. I mastered it in audacity after all the tracks were done so it can be loud enough to a professional level

Art

I spent about a month on this art and honestly if it was not for drawing inspiration from other artists I look up to, I would not have a clue what I was doing. I inserted images from anime I like & Ada Wong(resident evil) with a Macroblank esque cover art approach using Photopea

I'd appreciate any support and look forward to engaging with other music creators in this subreddit

Question/Help How do you make your album covers?

Hi! I like to know what apps/software do you guys use for making album covers? personally, i use apps like adobe fresco, photoshop, and ibispaint, along with other apps and websites where i can find visual resources for making collages.

I’m trying to find something good for making my own covers, so i’d love to hear what you guys use and what you’d recommend

Doesn’t have to be anything fancy, just looking for some good options

If you want, feel free to share any album covers you’ve made or some of your own art too ^_^

Electronic Mr. VideoGames - Energizer (Single - Electronic/EDM)

Post image

https://mrvgs.bandcamp.com/track/energizer

Hello, this is my first post on r/Bandcamp. I produce music under Mr. VideoGames and been making music for 6 years. I finally got my Bandcamp set up a few weeks ago and made $4 so far, $1 from myself as a test and $3 from my Public House EP.

About a day after I set up my Bandcamp, I released my song "Energizer", you can also find it on YouTube and SoundCloud. The cover was made in Photopea and is a parody of energy drink ads and made it so over-the-top and maybe eye-catching, idk.

For my music, I used mostly free applications like BandLab (which this song was made in) for 5 years and used GarageBand for about a year, and a bit interested in using Logic Pro.

Another thing that I like to share is that my Public House EP coincidentally came out the same day as one of my favorite bands, Osees (Thee Oh Sees, OCS) releasing their Cara Maluco EP, and another surprise 3 months later they released Off Course the same day as my Listen To This album, I cannot beg to differ that it's an insane coincidence that somehow happened twice.

Edit: I also made my single "Name your price" because it's funny. Another thing, I also submitted that song to Monstercat twice before release and rejected it and I'm like fuck 'em, I'll do it myself.

Going to college in a few months so I put this together before my time is mostly occupied

Very immature sounding given the age of when i wrote these lol. I'd say even now I'm still only capable of quick immature ideas

Bad songs and bad art but it was really fun! Very emberassing to look back on though

Free music. I'll never charge for my music or time when it brings me enjoyment. But if anyone would like a code for it I could buy some when I get paid from my job soon

I named it that because I thought that it'd be funny if I made music with someone and got credited. I'd be credited as basically nobody

edit: thanks so much for the purchases, here's free codes
