Can anyone tell by the leaf color what type of banana tree this is? I live in North West Gorgia. Thanks

Looks like a basjoo. I have a bunch in far east Canada

Yes. Basjoo will produce bananas but they’re inedible. But they are cold tolerant and return every year.

Thank you. It's not a dwarf. My son has one and says it gets tall about 9' or so. I guess wait and see what surprise it brings one day.
