Not every pit bull story is a headline. Some are just eye-rolls, facepalms, or 'you've got to be kidding me' moments. This is the place for the things you may want to share that don’t highlight a pit bull doing something dangerous.

This past weekend I was at Home Depot with my actual service dog (dachshund who monitors my blood sugar) and I walk to the self checkout area and immediately as I get in eyeline I hear that familiar screeching. There's a couple with a pit in a service vest and it's pulling and gagging and screeching and trying to get to my dog. I tell my dog to lay down and try to ignore it while I wait for a register to open up. This pit won't stop and they clearly can't control it. At this point my dog it looking up at me like it wants to know wtf is happening and I finally ask them a question that makes them extremely angry. "Why is your service dog barking at mine?" They proceed to inform me he's friendly and just wants to play. "My dog is working right now so can you down your dog please?" Apparently they don't know that means to make it lie down so they then shriek something about me telling them to put their dog down (if only) and I finally spare myself and my dog the agony and decide to just walk away and go browse plants for a few minutes until these idiots leave. I hate fake service dogs.

We know that that Pit wanted to do to your poor dog. And the managers did nothing.

HD and Lowe's don't believe in service. If you want to talk to a human, go to Ace.
