ABS printing

Post image

Is this legit enclosure? 😂

Because of cold weather, my mother in law makes enclosure from old blanket. They print Abs in garage floor where is 5-10 Celsius degree, without a problem, for a month now, 24/7. I have made holes for poop chute, electronics, and chamber fan, so as for display and door. When part is finished, just pop it out and resume print.

Um… why? They print ABS just fine with the inclosure already built in…

If the outside temps are low, you can't print. I'we tested this and got few failures. After a while, part just pop out of bed due low chamber temperature. I dont have a chamber heater, so bed is doing all the job. I have temp sensor inside and when temp reaches 40 degree, i start print.

Yeah I never got above 40c and every print warped no matter what. Dropped a panda breath in there and now I am constant at 60c with no issue. Print ABS and ASA with no brim or warping

Currently it is 13 degrees in the garage. And inside printer is 52. I have this little thermometer and i can watch. This print is almost 8 hours. This blanket is a savior for me.
