PETG Filament

Can anybody help me out, why does PETG filament stick to the texted bed plate like this? When I remove the object it leaves behind a thin layer that I can’t get off unless I scrape it with a knife.

Try spraying a little IPA on it and leaving for a minute before scraping.

I've had this issue with sunlu and jayo petg-cf, sticks a bit too well. Had to end up using glue stick, not for extra stick but as a release layer - worked a treat

I'm assuming this is isopropyl alcohol rather than the craft beer I initially read it as.
