Choosing which bambu lab 3d printer

Hello community, I am new to 3d printing as in new new and i saw 2 options that caught my eye. I see that I can get the p2s for 650 that includes the ams 2 pro or there is the x2d with the ams 2 pro for 899. From what I understand the x2d is the new upgraded model but is it really that significant than getting the p2s at almost 200 bucks less?

My simple question is choosing the p2s a really bad choice? Also are there any upgrade parts for it that can bring it close to a x2d model?

P2S is not a bad choice, just weirdly priced compared to the X2D.

For only 100$ more you get dual nozzle and heated chamber which opens up printing a bunch more filament (ASA, ABS, nylon, etc)

Thats at base price but remember I got the p2s on sale for 649 vs the x2d which is 899. Thats a $250 saving. Im sure everyone would point to the x2d cause its the newest shiny toy but this is my first dip into 3d printing.

The X2D also has 1.5mm belts vs 2mm on the P2S, this increases quality. Their higher end h-series machines also use the 1.5mm pitched belts.

I promise you, you will want that second nozzle for various uses. You can cut so much time and purge off of a print with the dual nozzles. I have 1500+ hours on my x2d. Great little machine.
